Power Equipment Direct Consolidates E-Commerce Stores

BOLINGBROOK, IL (October 19, 2011) - Today Power Equipment Direct (PED) replaced its existing corporate web site with a new consolidated e-commerce store, carrying its complete line of power equipment.

In the past, customers could only purchase power equipment through one of nine niche superstores. For example, snow blower shoppers would place their orders through SnowBlowersDirect.com.

Now, PED customers can shop the company’s complete catalog on one site with one shopping cart and one account.

The Bolingbrook, IL-based business will continue to operate its nine original niche superstores independently.
