I bought the Dewalt 4200psi power washer from my local big box store. The first one leaked oil, took it back and exchanged it for a new one, that one leaked pump fluid, took it back and exchanged it. I was loading the new one into the back of my truck and there was oil on the box that soaked through...a brand new box!!!! I immediately returned it and started researching professional power washers.
I found this one, it was delivered without a hitch. I turned the key, it fired up lickety split and I tested it around my house. Worked like a champ for 2 hours. I took it onto a commercial job I was doing and it worked all day everyday for two weeks straight. Not one glitch.
I'm very happy with my purchase to say the least.

One dollar fitting

I decided to spend twice plus for this machine instead of a big box store model. Shipping was on time, and the machine looked
awesome.
I tested it out on my deck and house- Nice. Then I took it to my first job. I hooked everything up and started to wash. Then the tip flew out- never to be seen again. I changed it to a different one as this job had to be done!
Well guess what? It just sprayed all over me and not much out where it should have been. I tried two more, same thing. Looking at it close, a cheap China brass coupling was the problem!
An 1800 dollar machine and a 1 dollar fitting! Nice. Well I lost a 400$ job. Then I went to the box store and spent 10$ for a new fitting. Should have just saved 1000.00$+ and got one there.
Am I happy? What do you think?

My shoulder is not in good shape and I needed an electric start power washer because the pull start was making my shoulder worse.
I looked through several web sites for the best deal possible and I found PED to be the best in offerings and price. The process was simple and delivery on time.
For any future purchases of power equipment I will definitely shop at PED.
