It is amazing.

I ordered this pressure washer a few months ago. The first thing I will make note of is that this is the 49 state compliant unit. There is another one that is 50 state compliant (Includes California) that is available, which has the same model number except it has "CA" added to the model number.

The best research I could find is that the difference is how loud the unit is when running. Im pretty sure that means the only difference is the exhaust noise level. I decided to go with the 49 because from what I found the level is only a couple decibels, which may be important to some people but for me the sun is usually up when Im working so its ok to be loud. Louder might mean more power, but I cannot confirm this.

The unit came on a pallet. I was able to lift the pressure washer out of the top of the cardboard box myself. That aluminum frame really makes a big difference. I believe its right around the area of 20-30 pounds lighter than the model without the aluminum frame.

I read all the instructions. The first thing I noted was the Viper pump needs to be changed after the first 25 hours of service. I'm glad I read that. So I purchased an hour meter. I got a good one that records the total run time, 2 maintenance interval times, and a current job time, along with max rpm. This is HUGE for anything you have brand new if you care to keep your records straight in maintaining the equipment, and it costs less than $50 so definitely go with that.

The hose it came with for the gun is an extremely good hose. As is the spray gun itself. Compared to the pressure washer I replaced, it weighs about 2x more. Which, if you care about quality and durability, heavier usually means stronger 9 times out of 10. So I was very happy with that.

This thing will peel the paint off of a brand new car no problem. Take it from me bc I actually did just that. My mistake, but now I know and you do too.

Before I purchased it I did a lot of research. I came across a guy who called around a bunch of places and asked which pump they seen the LEAST of in their repair shops. They all told him the VIPER. Now, I know this one is made in italy, not all are, but this one is and it's the best version they have. I also learned that at 4 gallons per minute of flow, it's right where you need to be to run a surface cleaner. I haven't purchased or ran a surface cleaner but that is what seems to be the rule of thumb with the guys on different forums talking about this and those are usually the best place to get information.

The bypass feature, which lets water circulate through the pump while you don't have the trigger held down, is a good feature to have. I have seen people modify it by turning it into an open dump when the lever isn't pulled down but that wasted a bunch of water and would soak the area the pressure washer would be sitting in if you did it that way.

The only thing I wish it had is a hose reel that's retractable. I'm trying to figure out how to mount one, but that's just preference.

Love it overall. Cleaned my house REALLY well. Was able to get my driveway ready for a new coat of concrete which requires a powerful washer like this one. Can also control the power very easily to turn it down to wash the car and motorcycle. The chemical injection hose is the easiest thing in the world to use. It goes through a 5 gallon bucket of chemicals pretty quick so be sure to use it accordingly. The book gives good advice on how to do that as well.

I am convinced you will NOT find a pressure washer nearly as good as this in any brick and mortar store, or on most of their online sales.

Also, I think the quality and customer reviews concerning this pressure washer show that some companies that used to be the overall best, are not so great anymore. It's good to research current reviews on any product. This one wasn't reviewed by anyone yet I've found but all the parts, like the motor, and the pump did have reviews so I just put two and two together.
