Big Power, Easy Start

Only used twice but pressure washer has plenty of power. Do not get skin too close to nozzle, it will inject water under skin. I tried it with driveway washer and it had so much pressure, the washer hovered at 18 inches from the concrete surface. May need to weigh it down a bit. Longevity is yet to be seen but a very impressive first impression.

Pressure-Pro Customer Service Fixed My Issues!

Although I had problems with my hose upon arrival, after sorting it out with Pressure Pro, they did send me a new hose to replace the one that was cross threaded... It's been almost a year now since my initial review, and the pressure washer is a beast, and they did come thru for me, so I felt that I should give credit where credit is due! I would definitely buy again, and I love using this machine! Thanks Again!

Power To Spare, Good Startup Unit

Operations instructions are very vague. The manual for the unit itself looks to be generic and not specific to any particular model.

Awesome Pressure Washer, But Beware Of Pressure-Pro
By Tommie B.

Review Posted 07/20/2017
I have purchased from PWD in the past, and am very pleased with their knowledge of their products and their advice.
I purchased this package with the lift gate delivery, and everything went well... no problems with delivery and everything in perfect condition. Delivery time was not bad, as i ordered just prior to the holiday weekend and it was shipped out by Pressure-Pro in a timely manner
My issue is with Pressure-Pro - this package comes with two 50 ft sections of quick connect hose, as well as the quick connects. The first time i used both of the hoses, one was leaking from the quick connect. On 07-17-17 i called PWD, who explained that they would transfer me to Pressure-Pro customer service, and that they would likely replace the hose.
After speaking with Brian at Pressure-Pro, he explained that it may be missing the o-ring, and to check it, and if that is not the problem to call back. i am not an expert on pressure washers, and they did send extras. When Ichecked the o-ring, which was missing, i installed one, and it still leaked from the back of the quick connect threads.
I called again the following day and spoke with Joe, who told me that he had to get approval from a supervisor in order to replace my new hose, and that i would need to send pic's of it leaking. I did that, and spoke with Joe again on 07-19-17. He told me that they are sending me a new quick connect, and to be careful not to damage the hose when taking the bad one off... It may have been cross threaded, or may not have been sealed with loc-tight, and to take pictures of everything as to document and prove any damage that was there prior to me getting it.
My complaint is not with the employees Brian or Joe that i dealt with from Pressure-Pro, in which Joe was very helpful & professional in answering my questions, My complaint is why am I taking apart a brand new hose and fixing it, having to document every step of the procedure in order to "prove" that I did not damage or misuse the hose, which by the way, was leaking from the first time that I hooked it up and tried to use it.
In the mean time I am reduced to having only one hose. I am not using this for commercial purposes, and have only a few hours on the machine itself let alone the hose which leaked from the word go which has a very limited warranty, which apparently the supervisors at Pressure-Pro do not want to honor. The nuts to the quick connects on these things are monsters, and I do not believe were installed on the hose to be taken off.
Although they said that if it still leaks to let them know - and send pictures of the defective hose / connection which i hopefully will not damage so they can't say that I did it to get out of honoring the warranty... again, why do I have to fix it or even attempt to fix it, let alone still be out of a hose while waiting on the replacement part? This package was a lot of money, and although I understand that Pressure-Pro management wants to save money, I don't think I should have to even attempt to fix someone else's mistake in quality control so they can save money by not honoring the warranty off the bat. I spent the money on a quality machine / package so that i would not have to do this. i will update this part of the review if given the chance to do so and update my follow up with Pressure-Pro.
The machine itself works great and is totally awesome! A few tips, it does get very hot - I had it too close to my vinyl fence, and it burned it. My fault, and with a little vinyl paint it was barely noticeable. Also, while running in my yard in the process of using it, it burned the grass. I would not have had to place it in the yard had both the hoses been functional, so my advice is to not use it on the grass!
The belt / filter does get very hot on it, and is clearly labeled as such, just don't think that it is a suggestion - it gets super hot! it seems easy to maintain and starts almost effortlessly with the Honda motor, and I am looking forward to many years of trouble free service, with the exception of the hose.
i also got the Hammerhead 20" surface cleaner with the service zerk. Would have been nice if this one was included in a package with the pressure washer as opposed to the 18", but this was the one that I wanted, and it is a huge time saver and well worth the investment. The ball valve that comes with the package is awesome for switching attachments, like from the surface cleaner back to the spray gun, and definitely a huge time saver.
i also purchased the Pressure-Pro 4200 PSI pressure gauge (ATG001) - I am not sure how accurate it is, but if nothing else it does let me know when the pressure is going up or down if i am adjusting the pressure while using it.
I have used "big box" store pressure washers before, and was always fighting with starting it, and wondering if it would even work, as it seemed that there was always a problem with the pump in it. This one has cut my time pressure washing in half, and overall I am satisfied with PWD, but Pressure-Pro.... the jury is still out on that one. Again, I get that they are trying to save money, but I shouldn't have to rebuild the hose, which i suspect my effort to replace the quick connect on it will be a waste of my time, as it was likely cross threaded from the manufacturer. And in the process, I will still be out of a hose.

Expert Response
I'm glad you are pleased with the majority of items in the Start Your Own Business Kit. I understand your disappointment in not getting a replacement hose- the Factory Warranty on components like hoses, wands, and nozzles is usually very short (typically 30 days) because they cover defects in materials and workmanship- they don't cover wear and tear or misuse.
That's why Pressure-Pro asked you to provide pictures of the problems with your hose- to make sure it was an issue with the construction of the hose, instead of a connection that had been jammed or damaged during use. Sending you a replacement for the part that malfunctioned was the fastest and most economical solution, instead of the delay and expense of having the whole hose picked up, returned to them, checked to make sure the damage didn't happen during use, then replacing the connector and re-shipping it.
We appreciate your business, and apologize for any inconvenience.
