Came with everything I needed to replace my older worn-out cat pump. Pump came with oil already in it. I bought extra to top it off. My pump came turned down on the psi/volume adjustment. After a few turns, I had full power. This pump feels much stronger than the one I replaced which had similar specifications. Only thing I would recommend is to replace your keyway during installation. I attached this pump to a 6.5hp Honda matched up perfectly.

Great replacement for my Graco pressure washer that had a GP Italian pump that would have been almost a month wait the Cat was delivered in just over a week ground shipping was dang fast 👍😎🇺🇸

This is a good pump after cleaning the crap out of the valves. The 2nd day I used the pump, about 15 minutes in It started pulsating badly. I went on the Cat pump's website and downloaded the Service manual for the pump. It said to check and clean the valves. When I open them up all 3 valves had some kind of blue plasticy stringy debris in them and one of the valves had a piece of hard brittle white plastic looking debris as well that was holding the outlet valve open. Hopefully, it was not a piece of a plunger... There was nothing caught on the inlet screen, and the white piece of debris was far too large to pass through the screen. After cleaning the crap out of the valves the pump ran like a champ for the rest of the job and still is. This is my second CAT pump, and other than the debris issue, it has performed to expectations or better so far. It seems to be delivering just over 3gpm instead of the 2.7gpm it is rated at low pressure.

I am a professional painter and pressure wash a lot of houses. This pressure washer was used to replace a tired old pump on a Honda GX 200 series frame. On this pressure washer you need to be sure to use a size 3.0 series tip. Tip size is critical to any pressure washer. Be sure to match the tip to the pressure washer output.
This pressure washer is excellent for general needs of a professional painter. We wash probably 35 to 50 houses a year. It is not as powerful as those units owned by professional pressure washer companies. It will not splinter up a deck, unless you put the wrong size tip in.

First, I hardly ever respond to writing surveys. The difference this time is the service I received when I most needed it from Pressure Washers Direct. I was in the middle of a big job and of course that's when my pump failed. I looked at many solutions including rebuilding. When I called PWD the salesperson (working out of his house) couldn't have been more helpful explaining all the options and suggesting the perfect replacement. Once we ordered the part it was quickly in my possession and I might add that it was the middle of the virus pandemic! I bolted up the pump and it worked perfectly and my problem was resolved. The most important part of the experience for me was I learned that in the future all I need to do is call my guys at Pressure Washer Direct and they will know what to do. It is super! Came fully assembled & ready to go, it mated up to my Honda 5.5hp with no problem at all. 3k-psi is really strong, I can clean my driveway in 40 min using a 15-inch surface cleaner. Best of all dealing with this company is a pleasure.

Great product and great service thru PWD. Install was straight forward and so far, the pump is functioning as it should. While a little pricier than their competition, I think CAT pumps are the best pumps on the market. You get what you pay for and I would recommend PWD to anyone.

This is an exact replacement for my Cat pump that I had for four years. Install was super easy. Just remember that there is a rectangle piece of metal that is called a key, that sits on top of a slot that is on your engine shaft. You have to turn the inside cutout in the pump to align where the key is on top of the shaft. Then when it all aligns you can slide the pump onto the engine shaft. It might take a few times before it slides on but it will once it all lines up. After that just tighten the bolts and it is already plumbed and ready for the unloader to be adjusted. Mine came with oil already in the pump at the correct level. I used a pressure gauge after the pump outlet and then put on a hose. Turn on the water hose and the engine and squeeze the trigger on the gun. When you release the trigger the pressure will spike and you don't want the gauge to read more than 3000 psi when it spikes. Mine was like 1000 psi out of the box so I just turned the unloader clock wise with a wrench, to make the pressure go up to the correct psi. When the trigger is pulled you should be able to dial in the correct working psi with the water flowing out of the gun, which for me and my machine is 2700 psi. Oh yea most important thing is if you are not going to use the machine for more than 30 days I would put the pump saver fluid (or RV water line antifreeze) in the pump so the seals will not deteriorate from the mineral deposits in the water. This is what made my original pump seize up, which they do not tell you in the directions. They only tell you to do this to winterize the machine. This is a quality pump and a great purchase to get my machine back up and running.

This pump is designed to only apply detergent with the black, low pressure nozzle.
If you need to apply soap at high pressure you might want to consider using a High Pressure Soap Shooter.
