We have only used the TE3040V for about a week, it has done everything we ask including powering a Harbor Freight Sandblaster. Its only 3 HP so I was able to run it in the garage with having to upgrade my electrical system. It also has a small er tank (40 Gallon) so it's doesn't take up a lot of space and fill within about 7-10 minutes.

So solid, smooth, quiet. Break in, pressure test, holds overnight perfectly. No damage except for cooling fins (fixed easily). Takes 4min 4sec to go from 130lbs to 165lbs. Love it. Pic shows extra plumbing on tank intake and output that is not included. No regulator. Pressure switch preset so if you need higher, get your own. Love it!

To start the unit was packaged and protected very well for shipping. I received the unit in perfect condition as expected, I appreciate a company properly protecting expensive equipment for shipment. The unit was installed and started up without problem, it functions as described and the quality of the unit is as expected. I have only used the unit a couple of times and it seems to meet the specs as described for CFM. I installed the unit inside my garage so the noise level is important and the unit is relatively quiet. I have not checked decimal numbers while the compressor is operating but it does not interrupt my activities or conversations throughout the garage.

It took about two weeks for delivery of the compressor. Delivery was great had the lift truck service. They even placed it from the truck to the garage. Packaging was good, photo attached. Completed the hook without problem for 240 volt line. Had to purchase fittings for installing the air regulator (Rapid Air Model) also purchased from Direct Air Compressor. Completed break-in per instructions. So far it operates as advertised. Fairly quiet and recovers per specs. Like the fact that its two stage to handle air tools even though it's only a 40 gallon tank. For my needs the 3hp model is sufficient. I would recommend this unit.

The unit was properly crated and packaged. Zero damage. R+L provided advanced notification of the delivery so that I could be prepared. Compressor was off loaded with a pallet jack was placed in my garage with no issues. Driver was courteous and waited until the delivery inspection was complete. Getting the unit out of the crate and onto the floor was challenging for one person but I was able to get it in position. This is really a two person task.
There was an issue with interference with ball valve handle and the regulator but that was solved by rotating the valve 90 degrees.
User installed items: Output side of the regulator has both 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch connectors. Power wiring is 12 Ga with routing accomplished by using stainless fasteners and silicone cushion clamps.
Run in and test: Machine was broken in per specification and leak tested overnight. No leaks. Machine runs without a hint of straining. Very pleased so far. Next is seeing how the compressor will perform under working conditions.

Very nice unit, the copper airline to the pressure switch is kinked but works and could be done better. Overall it is a very nice industrial rated air compressor.

Quiet and smooth running. My shop has a wooden floor. I feel no vibrations at all. Starts easily and hold pressure when not in use. Arrived in great condition. Securely banded into 2 pallets. Unit was wrapped in bubble wrap. Of course, I asked that it be delivered with a lift gate trailer. Driver called , the bill of lading said lift gate delivery and asked if there was any way it could be unloaded without the liftgate. Not at my address, but if you want to drive across town it could be unloaded at my brother's shop and you won't have to work around it all day. He was all for that. Glad I get along well with my brother's. I just had to take my trailer over to get it. I figured there would be less chance of damage if the compressor had 200 miles less on it. The trucking company did move it down the road for delivery in a reasonable amount of time.

Wired up, ran lines, cam on, created air pressure enough to run a paint gun for a boat w/o having to "keep up". I think the 2 stage makes a big difference and well worth the extra $$.
