Great Compressor
By Randy R.
Missouri
Purchased 09/26/2024 |
Review Posted 10/30/2024
This compressor has exceeded my expectations!! One pull and 30 seconds later and the engine idle settled down to signal that the compressor was up to 175psi. The pressure is a steady 90psi while using a blow gun continuously. This came with a battery box and the positive and negative cables to hook up to a battery. Couldn’t be happier so far with this purchase!!

I really like this unit. It works great zero problems. Just a few things that would be nice. The battery tray position isn’t the greatest also gas tanks are a little small it be nice if there was a connection that would allow additional tanks to feed the unit. But as far as performance, reliability, it’s fantastic, a lot quieter than I thought it’d be as well. A solid heavy well built unit.

Service Vans And Techs Like It
By Joshua M
Texas
Purchased 11/03/2023 |
Review Posted 11/29/2023
I have been using PUMA air compressors for on-site service vans for a while. They are of good quality, and PUMA has no problem helping you on the phone if there is an issue. The PSI/CFM bang for your buck is hard to beat here. The key start is great for service techs.

Great compressor, fast build up, fast recovery and great motor. Only thing is some of the wing nuts and fittings needed to of had lock tight put on them between the vibrations from the motor and road on the service truck stuff came loose but was easily put back just pay attention you don’t lose parts or just lock tight everything before you use.

Broke Down In Less Than Thirty Minutes
By Raymond T.

Purchased 07/19/2017 |
Review Posted 08/29/2017
Started and ran compressor fifteen minutes or so when I took it out of the crate, everything was good used it a couple of times for maybe five minutes then started compressor yesterday noticed that it never built up to the point of going back to idle went to trailer and heard a huge air leak , upon closer inspection found that Puma had used this cheesy little brass coupler between the pilot unloader valve and the air tank, and it had split from top to bottom. worse yet there was enough teflon tape forced into the fittings to choke a horse.
Called tech support to find that their mailbox is full and was informed by the recording that I could hang up now! When I didn't hang up the recording came back on told me that it seen that I was still there and hanged up on me. Talk about insult to injury, the nearest authorized repair facility is two and a half hours drive from me , so I guess I will have to fix it myself 1700 dollar poj can't wait for the expensive stuff to start giving trouble.

WHEEL BARROW 2-STAGE
By Greg M.
Seymour, Texas
Purchased 07/14/2015 |
Review Posted 08/10/2015
Hard to find just what I was looking for 2-stage pump 175 psi with cut in pressure @ 150 rapid recovery. It's the same size as most 135 psi singe stage wheel barrow models.
I installed a 1/2 inch hose reel can run 3/4 and 1 inch impacts for farm and other use elect start is handy along with the recoil start Honda red engine runs very smooth and recovers from 150 psi to 175 very quickly.
