Good Product, Terrible Instructions

We purchased this product a few years ago and just got it up and “running”. Turns out that the instructions for the electrical for this pump are marked incorrectly and we blew out the pump. We called to find out what was wrong and they told us how it should have been set up, which is NOT what the instructions say at all. So we ended up having to purchase yet another pump and spend an additional $400+ and followed the verbal, not written instructions & it works superbly!! Impressed with the product itself, not with the customer service and instructions. Buyer beware of instructions!!!

I have only had this pump installed for a couple/few weeks, but it is working great so far. I was able to use the under water electrical connection shrink-wraps to seal up the wiring connections perfectly. We are just using this for about 80% of our house, but it has no issue keeping up. I also bought a small 20 gallon reserve/pressure tank so that the pump does not need to run as often to maintain pressure. I bought the 120v version so there was no need for a controller, just a pressure switch and a expansion/pressure tank. The only thing that it didn't have, that was needed, was a fitting to connect the 1" PEX line to the unit.

This is a backup..it's sitting on the shelf with the last red lion I purchased, that is also a backup, so I will never have to worry about it..as an old timer I KNOW a good PRODUCT!! THIS ONE IS EXCELLENT/the BEST!! retired Machinist

Got it at about 75 ft & puts out 80 psi unrestricted, so far works good off my inverter, a bit of a heavy load starting up but all seems good.

Quality is SUPERB,Super reliable,exceeded expections,its a great pump, extra money is definately worth it.I have got cheaper ones that only last a couple of years. The last one I installed is still working its been about 7/8 years ago. This is a backup for when the 7/8 years old one goes out. So its on the shelf waiting for when I need it. Better to always be prepared like the BOYSCOUTS!!!!

I needed a temporary pump during our house construction that I could easily run off my generator, also took into consideration a back-up pump to keep handy in case my permanent pump quits. The permanent pump will be DC so I can run it directly off the batteries on our off-the-grid homestead.
I was surprised when I took a quick measurement and found it was pushing a good 15 - 16 gallons per minute however that is probably because it is only 40' down. So far it is providing all the water we need and considering the inexpensive price, we're happy with what we got..
