IT’S GREAT! IT REALLY WORKS!!

There is a delay getting warm to hot water. I don’t think this is excessive, just takes a little getting use to. I advise measuring the space carefully before you send for unit. I first sent for an outside unit. Then plumber said no, you need inside as going into a closet . So I sent it back & the company (and agent-sorry can’t find name) were very helpful and assisted with mail-back. I reordered an inside unit. When he attempted to install, it did not fit. Couldn’t get to controls & to clean filter. So, he ended up making an outside cabinet for the inside unit. Please measure carefully. Great unit!

In my opinion, the Rinnai V65 is an exceptional unit. Easy to install and works flawlessly. Don't waste your money on a "cheaper" knock off, get the genuine Rinnai and you'll be glad you did. Real value!

This replaced a 15 year old Bosh and I like this one much better

Rinnai suggest three companies to purchase the vent from! I chose Metalfab for ease of purchase but was very disappointed in the fit! The average guy would never be able to install it and it wasn't easy! Not sure about the other two but they have to fit better than the Metalworks. Rinnai needs to offer a vent system that is built for Rinnai!

replacing a old 100 gallon water heater that was an energy hog. Very happy with the speed of the hot water to the faucet and never running out of hot water. Can't wait to see the savings on our electric bill.

Very Happy with the upgrade

This thing exceeded my expectations, i have a 2 bathroom home and we would regularly run out of hot water with a 40gal tank heater. When my tank was showing signs of leaking i started researching tankless and found this heater great price and better performance. I was skeptical that i was going to have to use a higher water temp setting being on a well in michigan, but we are only on the second settings at 125deg F, and the water is plenty hot and produces tons of hot water. This heater is amazing. Just do your home work on what you need if you are doing the install yourself.

Very good water heater
By Tim S

Review Posted 07/30/2018
I read a lot of complaints about how long it took to get hot water. The only thing I can think of is that people have really long lines because I notice almost no difference between this and my standard hot water tank. about 30 seconds and my water is hot.
