Great Snow Blower

It came needing only a few steps to assemble. I put fuel and oil in it and it started right up. I have not used yet since we haven't got more than an inch or so of snow yet. It seems like it will do the job, especially at the end of the driveway after the snowplow comes through.

The sticker fell off the handle, and I hope this is not a sign of the future. The set up was easy, it comes with a quart of oil.

It fired right up once I received it and assembled it. The key is a little flaky, it does not hold tight and has dropped out a few times. I bypassed the switch and no issues. My wife and son enjoy using it, as it is light and easy to move and operate. The lightness is awesome, a nice surprise. The first snowfall was about twelve inches. I handled it well and moved the snow without bogging down. The remote chute is the best though. It is quick and easy to use when operating. Glad I purchased it, and the price seemed acceptable. This is the second Simplicity I have owned. This new one replaced the one I have had for eighteen years.

It worked great from the first start and was easy to assemble. The first use was only three inches of wet snow, and it worked great. The noise level was very high compared to my old 20-year-old one-stage snowblower. I needed to use a cancelation headset to protect my ears.

I need some snow to find out the real capabilities. It started right up, everything works, it needs an on-off switch for the headlight. Installed my own with a 5$ toggle switch. Love the electric chute control! I hope it holds up!

I live in a downtown area in the state of Michigan. I have a small driveway with a 1 car garage and a sidewalk to maintain. We get "lake effect snow" in my location which means from Dec-Feb there is 2" to 6" to clear in the morning. Also being in town, snow plows frequently pass by filling the end of our driveway with heavy snow and ice. So as I looked for a snow blower, I went single stage to make storage easier. I was going to buy the Honda but decided to get this Simplicity since it had good reviews and the auger has steel teeth to break up ice chunks.
I've had it about 3 weeks. Initial assembly was straightforward and the motor started on the first pull. It has electric start, but it's just quicker to pull the cord. After running it the first time, I noticed the smell of gas. After 1 call to Briggs and Stratton and a trip to a local repair shop covered under warranty, the gas smell was resolved.
Our first snowfall was about 6" of very wet snow. My first time using the blower was excellent. Started first pull again. It cleared all the snow without the chute plugging at all. My second use was after the city snow plow had come by and filled the end of the driveway with heavy snow and ice. Again, the blower did a great job of breaking up the snow chunks and ice as it cleared the driveway. So after 3 weeks, I'm very impressed with this blower.

This snowblower is amazing! Easy to use and starts on the first pull every time. The electronic shoot adjustment is really convenient. I can throw the snow all the way across my 2 car width driveway. It basically came all put together and had oil in it. All I had to do was attach the handle and screw the shoot on. I would highly recommend it.

Full disclosure: it hasn't snowed yet, but I can't wait for it to! I bought this in preparation for an extra snowy winter, after we had a pretty bad one last year. After a lot of research and reviews, I landed on the Simplicity 1022EE. I really like how SUPER easy it was to start - electric start, or just 1 pull. I love the electric direction control on the handle. The machine is well built and I'm super excited for the snow to come down and me to blow it on over to somewhere other than my driveway and sidewalk! My only issue was that when I ordered it, the product was on back-order, so it took a couple weeks longer to get it to me, but that's not really anyone's fault - if anything it probably says that it is extra popular!
