Purchased July 2014 and ZERO problems with pump, frame, or engine. Other than slight rust on frame, nothing to complain about. Estimated hours based on performing routine maintenance is 400 hours.

If you have any issues like I did then you're just stuck. I ordered a pressure washer from here and the first use of the pump went bad. No, I'm stuck with a 3-6 week lead time to get it fixed. Buy from a big box store so if something happens you can return it and get a new one. Pressure Washers Direct will do nothing but send you in circles and will not help you out to replace the item.

Used it one time and the AAA pump had water mixed with the oil. Off to the repair shop for me after one use. Never again with a AAA pump.

Product came with defected booster valve that instantly started jetting out water when I crunk it up for the first time,when I took it to a service center the tech also informed me that the unloader was NOT to standard and was spinning to loosely he also said that he had about 6 others in the back and Simpson and like brands DO NOT have good quality control, saying if I remember correctly they ONLY test every 50 machines. For this kind of money QUALITY SHOULD BE GUARANTEED.

This thing is a beast. I was tired of wasting my money on pressure washers from department stores that break constantly sometimes after 1st use. I spent a little more money and got a quality machine with a Honda engine. It has the right amount of water per gallons and psi to do every job I have including commercial jobs.

The engine runs great, unfortunately the Triple A pump is garbage. Does not feature an external bypass to keep the pump cool while letting off the trigger, and also will not prime with a water tank. Only had this hooked up 4 times and not getting anywhere near the flow I should. I called and was told to just buy another pump from them, they wont take it back or swap for what I need. The CSR I spoke to just wanted me off the phone. Not to mention I had to order my own cap valve as I have no desire to use the DS injector on the pump. You'd think for that kind of money small things like this would be included and the company would take care of you. I will never order another thing again from this place, I'm sure they don't care as they already walked with almost $3K of my money. Highly disappointed with the product and the company. Never again.

So I discovered in order to get 4 gpm you have to buy a HEMI LS Powerstroke Hellcat motor. Seriously strong washer, I almost wished I’d bought a 2.5 or 3 GPM washer. The wand or gun failed 45 minutes into the first use. I washed 8 hrs with a gun that wouldn’t shut off unless you killed the engine. It was dangerous but I say git-er-done. I called Simpson, and told them I don’t want the same gun. I want a better gun, ok no problem but you’ll have to pay for it. Well ok, send me a better gun. They sent the same gun with a left-hand assist handle like a firearm. It’s still the same gun though. Haven’t used it yet but hopefully it was a fluke. I know others that are still using their original equipment. If it doesn’t last I’ll go with a different name brand for a gun/wand. The hose is stiff, it would help if you had a second person keeping your hose straight and out of your way.

Missing the handle, engine bar, and the nozzle plate. Everything else appears fine. Called Simpson and they would send out the replacement parts. The handle sent was for a 3200 psi unit. Wasn't even the correct color. I wanted to use it, so I removed the plate and just bent the handles apart a few inches. It works, but I have low confidence in this purchase.
