Don't bother buying a Simpson pressure washer if you think you will need the warranty. They list warranty centers that don't work on their equipment and you will soon learn that you might have to travel well over an hour to get warranty service on your pressure washer. Do your homework and verify for yourself before you purchase a Simpson product

I purchased this unit in June of 2024. By October the fuel tank had sprung a leak (plastic welded seam parted). This set in motion perhaps the worst "not my problem" run around getting passed off by different "customer service" people who showed zero interest in helping me resolve the problem. These mass produced plastic parts fail. Its part of life. But the treatment I got trying to solve the problem is not OK. All over what amounts to a $12 part. So this is a bad review not so much for the product itself, which is no better than average, but rather a warning about buying this brand from this particular vendor. Don't expect any follow on product support what so ever.

The gas tank and shut off valve are low quality.

This is a really nice pressure washer for residential use.  It's fairly compact, made well, and performs well.  The engine starts easy and runs strong.  The pump is maintenance-free.  It comes with various nozzles, but I suggest a turbo nozzle, which works great with this PSI.  The hose isn't the best, but it does the job.  The wand, although plastic, is fine for residential use.

Frist and foremost, if you order through Pressure Washer's Direct, and have an issue, you're going to get the run around.

Here's the most accurate and honest review you will read:

I purchased the Simpson 60763 in March of 2023. Delivery came on time (which was nice) and set up was easy. I read over the manual, filled it up with fresh non-ethanol gas, oil filled/checked, the whole nine yards. The unit started right up after which was all downhill from there.

The throttle you see in the picture would only allow the engine to run at 1/2 speed after 10 minutes of use. Once you went above the 50%, it began to kill/cut off the engine. So, consider my situation where I'm using it on my driveway and I'm elated it was working at full throttle. I turn it off, move it to my next area, start it up, and can't get full pressure. Hint: The surface accessory requires the full throttle PSI and now is useless.

Yes, I called Pressure Washers Direct since I just got it and it was the first use. They said there was nothing they could do and I needed to call a support number. No return possibility. No shipping me a new one and shipping them the defective unit back. No options - NONE. Just call Simpson and best of luck.

Ok, well...I call Simpson. They tell me they can't ship a new one/can't take a return. They also can't send anyone to my house to fix it. I need to take it somewhere (lift, load, and unload the unit at the nearest repair center). They give me the name and number of the facility within a 60 mile radius. Go there, take the unit, show them the proof of purchase, and they might be able to fix it.

I did that. I loaded it up. Went to the address/location they gave me. Guess what? There is no repair shop there and they went out of business. Called back, they apologized and told me to drive to another state to get it fixed.

There are nightmares in your life. The ones where you just want something to work properly. Still, I feel I went above and beyond as a first time Simpson customer to give this a chance.
All I want is a working unit so I can finish my 1/2 done sidewalk and get the HOA off my back. Using the excuse that Simpson products aren't reliable after 10 minutes isn't working.

I would not recommend. I've never had this much of a hassle on a brand new unit out of the box. I've wasted my personal time to get the unit driven around and spend time calling between companies only to get pushed off onto another company.

The pump shook itself loose after the first use. Now it's leaking something from the connection. When confronted, Power Equipment Direct passed the buck to Simpson. Simpson did nothing. Bad Product and Bad Service. Avoid both Power Equipment Direct and Simpson products.

The little Kohler engine starts right up with no problem. This is one of the best homestyle pressure washers you can buy it comes with a Kohler engine an OEM triaxial pump and all the nozzles in a quality trigger handle.

This pressure is everything I expected. Does everything it is supposed to do and more. Lightweight, easy to maneuver, easy starting. Good on gas.

Started on the second pull, works as it should. Could use a swivel fitting to prevent the pressurized hose from tangling but otherwise a quality machine.
