I purchased this belt drive because I was told that belt drives will suck water from a tank. This one did not...required a pump.

First and foremost thank you for your purchase. We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your feedback and we can certainly understand your aggravation. This pressure washer does somewhat require being gravity feed. You can pull water from a height that is either equal or higher than the pump's inlet. However, you cannot pull water from below the pump's inlet with this pressure washer.

Came with faulty assembly from the factory. Broke after 3 minutes of use. Was over 6 weeks and 2 trips to a service center until they sent the parts. Was disappointed with Simpson that I spent $1700 and couldn't use it.

I debated purchasing a similar setup on a two wheeled aluminum cart however I was attracted to the four wheeled cart for stability and wanted a frame to attach a hose reel. I chose a belt driven machine because they are easier on the engine and pump.
I slightly regretted the fact I purchased a steel frame product however it seems to be very sturdy and well-built. I will just make sure I touch up any scratches or nicks in the paint to avoid rust.
The included hose (polyurethane) sucks so definitely upgrade
The mounting plate of the General pump hose reel I purchased (DHR50150) does not match up to the plate on this Simpson cart so new holes must be drilled.
Also purchased the BE 20" Whirl-A-Way to use with this machine which definitely makes cleaning my 7000 ft.² of concrete a lot easier. Slightly disappointed it is made in China but what the hell isn't these days?
The Honda GX 390 engine is great. Very easy to pull and starts up quickly.

I work fulltime and I'm not a big fan of the AAA pump with that said the thing has run flawlessly. Haven't tried to run it through my tank, just been water supply 3/4 hose to pump. The Honda motor is incredible this is the 2nd GX390 I've bought and this one is even better than the last. The gun is not up to par...leaks.
