Mower Is OK, Batteries Are A Weak Spot

This mower arrived with two Briggs and Stratton 82V batteries. One was defective out of the box. The defective battery was replaced within 2 weeks time, but mowing the lawn every week with just 1 battery really drove home the weakness of battery power vs corded or gas powered. It takes me about 90 minutes to mow my entire lawn and each fully charged battery is only lasting about 30. The included charger does charge a battery fully in less than a full hour, but the first battery is not fully recharged by the time the 2nd battery is drained so I have a bit of down time waiting for the 1st battery to be fully recharged again.

My only regret is that I did not buy an electric mower sooner. It cuts better than any other gas mower that I have owned. My yard is .75 of an acre. One full battery charge cuts the entire front yard and part of the backyard.

This is the BEST cordless mower ever!! Ease of use=100% Cutting height adjustment ease-100%. Does a beautiful job cutting grass! We have been bagging the lawn--picks up leaves,etc. Does a wonderful job!! Highly recommend!!

I ordered this lawnmower for my mother to use after my dad had a major surgery and was taking the season off. It arrived and assembly was easy. I took it out to test it so I could show my mom how to use it. The drive mechanism worked, however the blade would not spin. I ended up having to use the factory warranty. After taking it to a dealer 20 miles away and dropping it off. I was told a week later that a replacement was ordered and would be in the following week. The dealer handled all of the communication with Snapper, which was nice. I was happy that they replaced it, but that was all they did. The dealer said he had never seen that happen before.

The battery charge holds well and charges quickly when cutting a 1/2 acre yard. The self-propel feature handles with ease even on uneven lawns. Very quiet and easy to store

On first use of this mower, the drive failed repeatedly. No control over drive speed. The mower decided speed of drive and became a wrestling match to control it. Then the drive disengaged entirely with mower beeping and engine still running. I regret buying this mower and will never purchase another Snapper product.

It Is A Great ICE Mower Replacement.

It has exceeded my expectations. I have yet to use more than 1 battery for my lawn. It mulches well and bags like my gas mowers did. The ability to stand it up really saves storage space. It also helps in cleaning and blade checks. The advantage over my gas mowers is the ability to mow along curbs with one side in the street. No oil or gas to be out of place. I haven't experienced the negatives in other reviews that can be avoided. Kudos. A great walk behind E-mower.

This unit is alot of plastic but does cut and is quiet. Large yards I would say no but good for the smaller jobs. Hope the batteries last long. Charges both batteries in an hour. Worried about the durability.
