Great Battery Power
By Vince F.
Michigan
Purchased 07/05/2023 |
Review Posted 09/07/2023
This battery took the performance of my mower to a new level. When fully charged I was able to cut 10,000 square feet of my lawn. No more waiting for batteries to charge so I could finish the yard.

Backup

Review Posted 08/04/2023
Bought as a backup. I thought one of my 2 amp-hr batteries was not lasting as long as the others. However, that one is still behaving well. I also have another 4 amp-hr battery, which works well. Therefore, I expect this one will also work well.

With this 4amp battery I am able to mow both the front and back yard on one charge, this is better than the 2amp batteries that came with the mower, I recommend this factory made battery over the cheap knockoffs that's on eBay.

This 4 ah battery seems to run longer than the 4 ah I have for my 60-volt Snapper mower, very pleased.

Snapper 4AH Battery
By David S.
Franklin, Wisconsin
Purchased 10/02/2021 |
Review Posted 10/25/2021
The Snapper 4 amp lithium battery is twice the amperage and almost twice the price of the 2 amp battery. I had two of the 2 amp batteries that came with a 2-year warranty. They died after 2 years and a few months of being used in a Snapper battery-powered lawn mower used once a week on my 8,000 sq. foot residential lawn during the Wisconsin growing season. Hopefully, this battery has a longer life. These batteries are too expensive to be replaced every 2 years.
PS: Mowers Direct provides great service.

Perfect

I don't have to stop now in the middle of mowing to change the battery. This battery provides more get up and go. The self-propulsion is greatly improved. My advice don't settle for the 2 ah.

Heavy As A Car Battery & Works Like One, Too!
By Owen M.
Junction City, Oregon
Purchased 03/17/2021 |
Review Posted 04/12/2021
The battery is big, and it is heavy compared to other battery-powered tools, but it really did the job. It delivered all the power I wanted. And, it lasted as long as I did at 79 working on a difficult old tree. I tried as an experiment to see if I could bury the saw and stall it out by really leaning on it once just to see. I could bury it but it took every bit as much effort as it does to stall my bigger Husquavarna gas-powered saw.
I have used this saw since receipt to cut up a rather large very old pine tree that was felled during a storm. It was wet and very old dense wood to cut. I compared this saw and battery to my bigger gas-powered Husquavarna with a 24-inch bar. The saw performed as well. Further, being 79 years old, the battery had all the power and duration I could have asked for. Color me completely satisfied. But what I like the most, is that I just put the battery in, and away it goes. My gas saws are difficult for old arms to start on a good day, and this saw was a wonder. Put in the battery, and away we went. I think even my petite, old wife could make this saw work if she wanted to. But, then what would she need me for?

Good Battery But Mfg Date Is 2017 & It’s 2020
By Kurt H.
Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
Purchased 05/26/2020 |
Review Posted 08/12/2020
Expensive battery, but it runs the equipment longer.
The only problem is, it is 2020 and the manufacturer date is 2017. The shelf life of 3 years is not good.
