First, my purchase and delivery of my Snapper Mower from Mowers Direct was excellent. Good customer order taking and shipment.
As for Snapper, I am very disappointed in the way the electric hook system / wiring is made, as for connecting and disconnecting charging and starting. The first time i tried to charging the battery a wire came out of the connection. I never know if the mower is going to start or not with the cheap hook up. Me and my Family have purchased many Snapper Mowers over last 35 years and always thought we had the best quality for home use. I feel that I paid a premium price to get a Snapper, but less quality than in past years.
The transmission was all but dry and after driving all over town, I finally learned that no one had any OO grease except Snapper or order through the internet. So after waiting a week for the grease to be shipped and paying $ 26.00 plus dollars, I was finally able to use my new mower after a week or so. My closest Snapper Dealer was more than 75 miles round trip.
Also, when I was shopping for my new mower I checked with 3 different Snapper dealers and none had any of the model that I wanted in stock. One dealer even told me that Snapper had discontinued the model I was looking for. This is main reason that I ended up purchasing from Mowers Direct.
I have no complaints with Mowers Direct,you did a good job.
