I love this product because its easy to start, works very well, lightweight and cuts very well. It continues to cut, even if the rotating arm is filled with the grass cutting.

Trimmer is easy to set up & easy to use. Strings are easy to change. Performs better than expected. I had some pretty high weeds some over six feet tall. This thing went right through them. Not only does it knock them down, but it also almost has a mulching action. I highly recommend getting the 150cc motor for anyone looking for a walk-behind string trimmer.

The trimmer performs very well, plenty of power. It eats brush like candy. I wish the handle was a bit wider, hard to get 2 hands side by side. I wish the wheels were 14" diam like competitors. Sticks and ruts tend to really catch the unit versus it rolling over top of them. Most importantly, for a unit of its size, it needs to be better packaged. Mine had a broken ventilated top shroud, bent axle, and the mounting handle was smashed flat against the trimmer to the point where I couldn't open the gas cap.
I was able to temporarily fix some of this so i could use the trimmer but i am still awaiting warranty replacement parts. It has been several weeks. Overall, I like the unit a lot and hope it remains reliable but I imagine the packaging is costing this company a lot in replacement parts.

My Southland Field Mower came quickly and was easily assembled. I have since cleared about one acre of field in about two hours and will continue to keep the weeds down using this device which saves a lot of time and effort. It works well on relatively flat land, but I would hesitate to use it on any significant slopes. Powerful motor with heavy string trim line which is durable but also very easy (and inexpensive) to replace. Only problem I will have is neighbors who have seen me use the machine who will likely come calling, asking to borrow the machine!
