Sometimes spending the extra money on a cast iron pump isn't in everyone's budget. The cast iron design of this model is a great option for a thrifty buyer as it's also our lowest priced cast iron pedestal pump. Plus it comes with a 3-year manufacturer warranty.

They are good pumps with quality materials. My only beef is that when they arrived, I noticed the bolts holding the column to the motor were loose on both pumps. In fact, one of the bolts / screws had completely unthreaded and fallen into the pump casing / impeller housing. If I had not noticed that and turned it on it probably would have wrecked the pump. Really people, something so simple when assembling. So much for quality control!

Product was as described, super quiet and heavy duty. I have no doubt the sump pump will last a long time. Sump Pumps Direct was excellent. Delivery time was supposed to be 4 to 7 days, I had the pump installed less than 22 hours after purchase, unbelievable in today’s world. Would highly recommend.

This pump offers some great features for the price: Stainless pipe and cast iron bottom. After installing and adjusting it, I tested it out and it pumps fast and very quiet. Very pleased with this pump.
