It's Ok

A nice little jig for turning logs into posts. Worked great for a dozen or so logs, and then the clamp cracked in half, not really sure cast iron was the best material. I suppose I got my money's worth out of it but still disappointed.

Nice Product For Softwoods
By David N.

It's very good value. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to make beams out of softwoods. I tried to cut white ash with it and it just got too hot, everything started coming apart. I am going to try it on some pine next on it, which I am sure it will work fine. I would suggest if you are going to use it on hardwood don’t cut longer than a six-foot pole.

Seems Of Quality, Nice Finish But It Lessons The Board Width
By Thomas A.

Setting up 2x6 straight edge was somewhat tricky. Plum and level-wise ( nothing on your par). However, I did have to rip sixteenth off of 2x6, the edge I’m guessing your nice finish made 2x6 a tad too wide.
Overall, I would give it a strong 4+.
The only issue I have was the delivery time. But worth the wait. Did I say thanks? Thanks 👍

If you're looking for a way to rip some rough boards. It's a good way to go. I just bought it because I honestly just wanted to try it. The item was back-ordered and came with no hardware, so I had to decide to waste time calling or just figure it out. I went to the local hardware store looking for some M8x25 screws as listed on the parts list. Found them took them home and they don’t fit.

Which then I learned was true for another customer based on his review. The bolts I then tried got cross-threaded, so now I was faced with drilling them out and re-threading. I ended up just drilling the new bar that I got just to rip which didn’t make me happy. After all that frustration, I will say it did slightly better than anticipated. Looking to use it to cut a beefy mantel that we wanted to be rustic and rough looking.

This Was New To Me & I'm Really Impressed

I live some distance from town on a few acres of large oak and cedar trees. I'm a retired peace officer and have a tight budget.

The ability to make my own posts and framing lumber without driving to town and back is a huge benefit, and using my Timber Tuff to make what I want the way I want it is great! I think many of the property owners near our place will be wanting your web address.

This Is The Worst Product Ever

Very poor quality. The grip of the clamp gave up and it opened up with the second use almost causing an accident.
