My Pros & Cons Of This Mower
By Chuck C.

Purchased 02/15/2020 |
Review Posted 06/02/2023
Pros -
1. This was the 6th one I have purchased. (This one is my backup). I mow 12 yards a week.
2 All my customers like the look of their lawns.
3. I have had a few guys stop by and ask what model & where to buy one.
Cons -
1. It continuously Shreds engine drive belts in damp or wet grass tall or short.
2. It is a high Maintenance mower.
3. Gas Tank is too small for size of the mower.
4. My number 1 mower I purchased years ago was & 995.00.
Today they are $ 1600.00 .
5. Overpriced for the Quality & Performance.
6. You have to make sure the under deck is scrapped after every yard.

Great Mower If You Have Short Grass
By Philip B

Review Posted 08/11/2022
I have purchased one and does good on flat to mild terrain. Mulching and cutting 6 to 12 inch grass it’s way under powered. Toro should outfit this mower with at least a 14 hp. I have had to replace cable several times as the cable are basically banjo cables. Very light weight .

Bearings went out after 6 months. Lower handle broke in half today. Only one and a half years old. Also, bagger chute clogs all the time. No getting an early jump on the heat with the morning dampness. Worst lawnmower I ever purchased. Toro evidently lost their way on this one.

Great Mower And Well Built
By Roger L.

Great product so far. Electric start is awesome, and self propel drive is responsive and powerful. The only issue is the size of the gas tank.. seems a little small. Would highly recommend this mower for homeowners who don’t need a riding mower, but need something more than a standard 21-24” residential model.

Lawn mower has a lot of power and definitely saves time. I noticed the following issues:
If I had known this prior, I would have never purchased online.
* When you by online it is difficult to get your local Toro repair center to look at it under warranty because you didn't purchase from them.
* Electric start does not work all of the time.
* When using the bag, it does not seal fully, so grass catches in areas of the sides of the mower.
* Very small gas tank. I have a 1/2 acre and I have to fuel up 3 times prior to finishing the lawn.

This Is The Biggest Piece Of Junk I Have Ever Purchased
By Larry V.

Review Posted 03/20/2022
I bought mine in 2017. I’ve had more issues with this mower than anything I have ever bought. Replaced bearings and one of the pulleys and all three belts, luckily these were under warranty. Transmission failed, replaced that. Replaced battery two times. Starter failed needs replaced but it is time to quit spending time and money on it!

My Favorite Mower

I love the feature of the electric start and the 30” width available! So much quicker mowing and so easy to start! I wished I had bought this sooner. For an older, small female this is an excellent mower to have. One drawback, however, is it can be hard to pull back and the bag can be heavy if completely full.
