Line feed doesn't work
By Gerald P.
san jose, California
Review Posted 10/22/2011
I have only used my trimmer 5 or 6 times. So far, the line feed doesn't work, and needs to be dismantled every time I use it to clear the feed mechanism. The feed eyelet for the string has fallen out somewhere in the yard (forget about finding it) and I'm trying to pull the head assembly to replace the string with a universal blade kit. This thing is a piece of inferior junk. I've always had an excellent mechanical aptitude and have rebuilt car and motorcycle engines. Yet, I can't even figure out how to pull the entire head assembly on this trash pile to install the blades and the manual doesn't say how to do it. I think using a pair of scissors around my yard would be better than this trimmer.

Trimmer Mess
By Sandra

Review Posted 08/25/2011
I received my trimmer a couple weeks ago, put t together only to have it fall apart as I was trimming the lawn.
The plastic parts broke in pieces, The string got stuck 4 times before I wanted to toss the whole mess. I would like to return this mess.

Great light wieght trimmer
By Andre
Abbotsford, IL
Review Posted 07/21/2011
Works great for light yard work. I love the adjustable handles and the unit works well as an edger. My only negative comment is that it is hard to get the spool cap off when you run out of line. The cap threads on very tightly and with the addition of grit and grime from use is almost impossible to remove. Despite Toro's claims, you must use tools.
