Triangle Tube is best known for two things: feats of hydronic innovation and incredibly efficient products. The Challenger Combi Boiler brings tankless water heating to the compact, high-efficiency Challenger series of boilers. Triangle Tube retained the low NOx, low noise design of the original Challenger and added on board domestic hot water production for even greater value. The condensing technology behind Challenger Combi boilers will capture and reuse gaseous heat that escapes traditional boilers. A unique cast-aluminum heat exchanger with copper waterways is the heart of the Challenger Combi. This blend of materials provides efficient heating and exceptional durability. Vertical flueways mean that you'll enjoy those benefits in a compact design. Indeed, the Challenger Solo has incredibly low profile and mounts conveniently on your wall. The Challenger is perfect for closet installations or just saving space in traditional installations, and it includes a bracket to simplify piping wherever you install it. If you have three cubic feet of space, you have room for heating for your home and domestic water supply. The ease-of-installation means that there is more reason than ever to add a high-efficiency Challenger Combi boiler to your system.
  • Intelligent DHW Control
  • The Challenger Combi can be set in ECO-mode. In this mode, it will learn what times of day have the highest hot water demands. The Combi will then maintain a minimum heat exchanger temperature at those times for instantaneous hot water.
  • Outdoor Reset Control
  • All Challenger Combi boilers include an outdoor reset sensor and outdoor reset control. This allows your boiler to regulate the temperature of your home based on the temperature outdoors which saves energy without sacrificing comfort.
  • Precision Through Sensors
  • Sensors at the boiler supply and return measure temperature and relay that information to your boiler so it can further refine its output and guarantee comfort and efficiency.
  • Modulating Burner
  • The Challenger can make fine adjustments to heating output because of its modulating burner. This burner allows minute, incremental changes in heat production to guarantee that you aren't using more energy than you need to be.
  • Dual Purpose Waterways
  • With a Challenger Combi, your domestic hot water is heated directly in the waterways of the heat exchanger. This eliminates the need for a secondary heat exchanger and additional equipment that is typical in other combination boilers.
  • Venting Options
  • The CC 125 is a sealed combustion hot water boiler and it vents conveniently through your wall. Challenger Solo boilers support concentric venting which reduces the number of vent pipes from two to one and further reduces the space necessary to install.
  • Product Includes
  • (1) Triangle Tube CC 125 Hot Water Combi Boiler
  • (1) Outdoor Reset Sensor
  • (1) Wall Mounting Bracket

Medium Learn More
Medium
Medium refers to the substance that carries heat through the heating system. Systems are either designed to use either Hot Water or Steam as a medium, and components are usually specific to one or the other.

Fuel Type Learn More
Fuel Type
To create heat, some form of fuel is required. Fuel Type specifies what the product uses as an input to create heat.
Natural Gas
Combustion Type Learn More
Combustion Type
Condensing appliances use leftover thermal energy from combustion gases to heat water in a secondary heat exchanger, resulting in higher efficiency and lower exhaust temperature.
Condensing
Vent Type Learn More
Vent Type
Products that use combustion (burning) of fuel to create heat also create potentially dangerous gasses that need to be exhausted (AKA "Vented"). Depending on the product, venting can be done via a chimney, through a side wall, or use a second vent to provide fresh air to the appliance.
Direct Vent
DHW Production Learn More
DHW Production
DHW (Domestic Hot Water) is potable water for uses other than space heat. Some boilers are able to provide DHW "out of the box", while others can do so with the purchase of optional accessories.

Ultra Low NOx Emissions Learn More
Ultra Low NOx Emissions
NOx is a byproduct of the combustion process, and it's output is regulated in some jurisdictions. Many regulators mirror SCAQMD rules, which regulate air quality for some parts of Southern California. Ultra Low NOx appliances emit less than 10-14 ng/J (nanogram per Joule) of NOx. Learn More

Triangle Tube CC 125 Reviews & Ratings
7 successful installations.

Review Posted 10/01/2018
As a heating professional I have in the past months installed 7 of these units. I have had zero issues with them and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for an excellent condensing boiler. The only caveat is simply that they be installed correctly and have proper gas flow, meaning the size of the pipe must be sufficient for proper operation.

Saw it Through and I'm Glad I Did

After having some problems getting the CC125H to work properly. It is working very well. The first night this unit was in full serve was when the outside temperature hit a low of 29°. I didn't know it got that low until I put on the TV in the morning. The only thing I will tell everyone is read all the instructions both for the boiler, circulators, thermostats and switching relay.

Long story short The unit worked great for 18 months and then the blower fan stopped working. You would think a $2,200 unit would have longer than a one year warranty but not with triangle tube. My customer now has to spend $600 on a blower motor that is also nearly impossible to find.

Even triangle tube could not sell me one or tell me where to get one. I made multiple phone calls to the company and nobody returned my calls. By the fifth day I finally got someone on the phone for them to tell me it's not covered under warranty conveniently for them.

Now my customer does not have heat or hot water for 5 days because none of the plumbing supplies stock there parts and I had to order from the one place I found online. It makes me think the seller can charge whatever they want considering they are the only ones that have the part.
