Watch Out On Warranty

I installed this at my parents home in late 2020. The software was wonky and we do not truly know if it works since it has not yet rained enought to test it. And the battery charging system failed. So now they have a after market battery tender on the battery.
More importantly. Last week my ESP45, Wayne's former high end model, failed after 8 years. I tried to order a replacement float. Wayne told me it stops making replacement parts two years after a product is no longer sold. I now have a $500 paperweight. Spending $1500 on this pump is a risk. You will be abandoned when a new model is out.

I got the pump up and running in about an hour. It was easy to swap it out with the existing pump. The install instructions were easy to follow and getting it working with the internet was also very straightforward. I have it set up so I get a text when the backup runs. I did not have a backup before and am much relieved now that it is in place. This backup setup seems much more solid than other's I've had at different properties over the years.

Just installed this system. Shipping was fast and was on my doorstep within 2 days. I previously had the Pro Series 33 from Glentronics. Overall a good system as my basement never flooded, but it did have its issues, mainly from the float switches and the back up pump recently quit working. I went with this system due to the higher horsepower and it seemed to be of better quality, and a better switch. Installation was easy for me as I have researched sump pumps.
My pit takes in a lot of water when it rains and I need something that has to work. The hardest part of the install was making sure the PVC piping was measured correctly. I pulled up the instruction via a youtube video. The WIFI app was easy to setup on my phone. Shortly after I installed this it started raining and it works as it should. It is a lot quieter and drains my pit faster. Tested the back up pump and it works too.
It is a bit expensive but Id rather pay $1400.00 got a good sump system than $20,000 to repair a flooded basement. I also bought the Wayne 75amp hour backup battery. I am so much worried about power outages as I have a whole house standby generator, but those can fail too. I am a believer in redundancy. I will check back after 6 months for a follow up review.

During the last cellar flood, the power went out and the old sump pump was useless. Now I don't have to worry about that. The Wayne sump pump is whisper quiet and when I test shut the power off, it continues to operate on the battery. Just what I needed all along!

Excellent product and easy to install. My only complaint is that the system lost connection with my home WiFi and we have not been able to reconnect it yet. Manual indicates that it should reconnect on its own.

The hardware was easy to install. The software needs getting use to during the installation. Creating the subnet required a few trial and errors to get the pump to recognize the phone when the internet goes down. I did get a few e-mail alerts that backup pump was activated but inhouse power never went out and sump never that full-considered it a electronic gremlin. Overall performs as advertised.
