Great Pump as expected from Wayne

I have 3 Wayne sump pumps in my basin. This one as the primary, a 3/4 HP cast iron on a brick as the secondary, and a Wayne battery backup sitting on top of this pump. Wayne's are the best pump for the money in my opinion. All 3 are plumbed out in separate 1 1/2 inch pipes, btw.

I have two sump crocks two Wayne sump pumps in each. One as the main pump and one as the backup in each crock and I have never had a flooded basement yet. I think Wayne Pumps are great.

Corrosion
By Mike

Review Posted 01/07/2013
I installed to remove ground/rain water. I installed only 10 months and it started going off often and for only 2-3 seconds. When I pulled it out of the sump well all the metal rods including the rod that the float runs up and down on was extremely corroded. It is unfortunate that something that is suppose to be submerged in water would use metals that corrode that rapidly.

Pump Problem
By Charli
Carlisle, Pennsylvania
Review Posted 09/07/2011
Bought the pump in March of 2011 and after only five months our basement flooded. When I went to check on the pump it was pulsing on and off. I pulled it from the pit to see if there was any debris causing the problem and there was not. I called the tech line and was on hold for quite some time.

A great sump pump
By George Douglas

Review Posted 03/17/2010
I have had one of these pumps, which was installed by the B-Dry basement waterproofing company, for six years with no problems.
It amazed me when I learned this pump only had a one year warranty.
It has never failed, though I am buying another to have on hand in case it does.
The reason I am doing this is because the average life of these pumps from what I have read is from four to six years.
