Fast Easy Mower
By Donna H.
Virginia
Review Posted 03/24/2023
I'm done mowing my yard in less time it would take when I had a simplicity mower. I have rheumatoid arthritis and this mower is fast, easy to do regular maintenance, and not complicated. I love it.

Junk

Do not buy this worthless piece of s---! Problems are too numerous to mention here. This worthless piece of s--- will begin to nickel & dime you to death the moment you run it the first time. And good luck finding parts. I bought mine at Walmart, another worthless piece of s---. Spend $300-$500 more on a real mower & not on a Weedeater pieces of s---!!

junk!!!!!!

Review Posted 04/24/2016
I spent more time fixing this mower than using it. Very little power , tires keep coming off, steering jams, The person who, designed this should be fired.. I can't sell it because my conscience and my wife won't let me.

She doesn't think we should pass our misery on to someone else. If I told my story of my problems to Ripley, they wouldn't believe it. Junk

JUNK
By William C.
VA BEACH, Virginia
Review Posted 03/05/2016
I bought this mower from Home Depot, had it a year before it started falling apart. Would not back up, wheels hit anything - rip them apart. Very hard to steer, finally transmission went out. Home Depot was unable to help as they no longer sold them. Took it to reliable repair shop, and they would touch mower sold 100.00 for parts

Worst but ever
By Jp
New York
Review Posted 11/28/2015
I was looking for a ride on like a snapper but I found this one came up thru amazon.com. I had to assemble it after delivery by fedex. The steering nut had to be replaced after few cuts. It was cheap plastic. The replacement part was metal so it was better.

After few more cuts. It wouldn't start. I replaced the safety fuse and battery. It worked for few more cuts but now it doesn't start at all. Problem since day one. I would never buy anything from weed eater ever again

disposable lawnmower
By Charles Curry
Rapid City, South Dakota
Review Posted 06/17/2015
Made the mistake of buying the junk. Steering wheel broke right away. I fixed that and it worked alright for 2 years. Except when the tires would spin on the rim and rip off the valve stem. Reverse never did work. Now The mower deck can't be raised or the back end of it rides up over the skid plate and won't come down. I am ready to haul it to the scrap heap.

Good mower!
By Richard B.
So St Paul, Minnesota
Review Posted 06/01/2015
This is not a mower for big yards, I have a small yard, and it works great. I have had it for almost 5 years. No problems, I change the oil and run it weekly. I do two yards each 50x100, and it just works fine.

Pros:
Price, Durable, I'd Buy It Again, Just Right For Small Yards
Don't waste your money

This has to be the worst lawn tractor on the market, the tires will not last past a year, and the 10-400-4 size is almost impossible to find, most replacement wheel are either 7/8th of an inch or 1 inch in diameter, the wheels on this albatross are 3/4 of and inch so forget about getting new wheels. The steering is like trying to turn a locomotive on soft ground if you really want a work out, go to a gym. So don't waste you money.

Manufacturer Response
The wheels should last far longer than a year under normal usage.

This mower is designed for the economically minded individual with small flat yards.

If you need to order replacements, I have included the part numbers below. They can be order through numerous sources online of through any authorized Weedeater service center.

Rear wheel assembly including tire: 581 42 07-01
Front wheel assembly including tire: 581 42 06-01

Problems
By Ronald S.
Sherwood, Arkansas
Review Posted 04/04/2015
First year no problems, from then on nothing but! Steering went out, transmission (or so the repair shop says) needs to be replaced, more than I paid for it new. Can't really find anyone to work on them.

Looked for replacement parts to try and fix it myself, no transmission replacement part listed. This product isn't worth very much to put it nicely. I would NOT buy ANY weedeater product in the future based on the difficulty of trying to get this one repaired.
