Small And Powerful

By far the smallest generator for this power range. I use this for my mobile detailing setup, and size was very important, but I still need enough power to power my tools. This works awesome

I see quality control, i.e., every bolt, nut and clamp has a colored inspection mark on it. Outstanding! Very quiet and compact great output for its size and weight. Dual fuel really makes it very flexible.

After reviewing several other brands including one I currently own I chose the Westinghouse for camping rv for quietness, weight, size both wattage and physical and easy storage because I only run it on lp.

Frustrating Experience

Like all generators regardless of where you purchase them, you cannot return the generator for a refund if you have problems and oil has been added. . You have to deal with the manufacturer, in this case Westinghouse. I talked to a technician right away but his list of suggestions didn't work. Then I couldn't get a technician to return my call after that but the phone center gave me a case number but it sounded like I still had to wait for a technician to approve before bringing it to a service center. After waiting days and days for a technician I called the closest service center and they said if I had a case number that was sufficient so I brought it to them. They tried to solve the problem over a couple of weeks but finally said the machine was not serviceable. This is a dual fuel generator and I wanted to run it on propane. It was difficult to start, and of course the pull start was no fun. After it finally started it would run for about 10 seconds and then stop. The service center, who were very helpful and friendly, had the same problem. I tried to buy an upgrade to electric start since I was tired of the pull start but Westinghouse would not do that. Of course I did not purchase it from them, but instead from this retailer which I guess is the only way they sell them. For a 3,300 watt dual fuel generator it is a good buy if it runs. It is light, I think 54 lbs. and has the appropriate outlets, and is fairly quiet.
I would like to get a refund since I now have no confidence in this generator but apparently that is not possible. Hopefully the replacement will be better. I fear after a hurricane down here in Florida and the electricity goes out, I will be outside in the hot and humid weather pulling on the start cord drenching in sweat and not knowing if it will start, so possibly no better off than if I didn't have a generator.
