This quiet 3900 watt generator is great for RV use as it is quiet, has electric start, and comes with the 30-amp 120-volt RV receptacle.
This inverter also offers the benefits of being a dual fuel model. The unit can operate on either gasoline or propane (LP). This is make it very flexible and convenient to fit your needs. At times it can be hard to store or travel with gasoline therefore propane is a great alternative.
If you are looking for something lightweight, this model takes the cake at only 98 lbs, which is almost half of a conventional style portable generator.
The iGen5000DF continues to make it onto our top product list.

This unit came damaged, the LED display screen and the USB ports do not work. Also the top came scratched. The rest of the unit is working and does produce electricity. Westinghouse has been working with me to fix the damaged parts, but getting the correct part has been an issue. The first part shipped to me was not correct and the second part has not arrived yet.

Forget The Solar Panels

After struggling to keep my two solar power stations charged using solar panels through both hurricane Helene and Milton I started looking at dual fuel generators. Propane is everywhere and like the sun, gas can be difficult to obtain after the storm has passed. I can now power my freezer and refrigerator while recharging the solar power stations for use in the evenings without worrying about not having enough sun using the solar panels. When you consider the cost of solar panels and cables this is also a great value.
This Westinghouse iGen5000DF generator is very quiet, especially in eco mode. It’s also very easy to use. Electric Generators Direct had this to my door with days of ordering it at the end of Milton, really appreciated that.

No complaints from me on this one. Tried it out right away Stright out of the box to my Camper, for the compact size and features it has the performances was great. Left it on all night. Give me 8 + hours on the tank. The gauges are awesome! The remote start a must have.

I have had the generator for two months now, about 140 hours of camping time, run time. It performs great. It has met my expectations for quality and performance. Electric and remote start are a blessed feature on rainy day campouts so I can stay in the camper to operate it. My son and my nephew already have had one each for a year now and also recommend this model. Thanks.

This is an awesome generator! Duel fuel, auto start, full function meter. Virtually everything that you could ever want or need in a generator of this size. And yes, I would buy this unit again.

This is our third purchase of the Westinghouse inverter generators.This time we upgraded to the 5000iDF. Like to run on propane so we don't have to fill gasoline containers and have them around the grandkids. Generator runs quiet and longer times with the larger propane tank. We live in Arizona and have the AC running all the time. The only complaint is that the oil drain plug is located in an inconvenient place. On the other generators I drilled a hole in the plastic housing to better access the drain plug with a socket extension. Love starting with the remote.
