Good Bang For The Buck--but What's The BTU Rating?

Aside from the fact that the tech support from the seller and the manufacturer, if you can believe it, were 100% CLUELESS as to the BTU consumption of the unit when running on NG, it's great. This is absolutely, positively ESSENTIAL information to have. We had to guess in order to provide a NG line to run it by looking at competitive units. Finally after some weeks I did get a reply that seemed to be somewhat of a guess instead of a test itself (Can't the manufacturer put this in the lab and test it for goodness sake?) as they said the BTU/Hr on NG was 152,000 when the competition with the same watt ratings were more like 127,000. That's a big difference that needs to be accounted for. ASIDE from nobody knowing or understanding WHY this is critical information the unit works well...mostly thanks to my plumber and his gas line calculations.

My Westinghouse Tri fuel generator is exactly as described. Got the natural gas hooked up and it runs fine and has enough to power my entire house including AC. The only thing I can't run at the same time as the AC is the electric dryer.

It's just what we needed. easy to install. Ran a 50 amp plug from the Gen outlet to the 50 amp plug. Plug goes to a 10 circuit box..

I purchased our generator from Generators Direct. Read the reviews about this website and most were positive, so I decided to purchase through them. I couldn't be happier, fast delivery, I ordered on a Wednesday and it arrived the following Monday and with free shipping. Delivered via R&L with lift gate service. The driver was great and used a pallet jack to get it right to my garage door. This generator was easy to assemble. The quality of this unit is impressive and with very nice features. I had a 50-amp exterior receptacle wired into my 200-amp panel with a simple but well-built American made interlock switch installed in the panel to prevent energizing the utility lines from the generator or power from the utility company destroying my generator when service is restored. I have not had to use the unit yet but I'm ready.

I haven’t had the chance to put a lot of load on it yet, but it seems to be built very well! Hooked to propane, it fired right up. The remote is a very cool feature and comes in handy. I have never owned such a nice generator, hope it will out last me. I opened my breaker box inside the house, lo and behold, there is a Westinghouse sticker on the panel, enough said!!!
