I read about setting up my HPS6000HE Generator to use LP or NG safely with the fuel cut-off valve. I installed the unit & it tested out perfectly.

Product Questions Answered by Jared, the Generator Expert
Hi Jim, I ordered a Winco HPS12000HE 10,800 Watt Tri-fuel Generator w/ Electric start Honda engine 2/1/13 and a 40 foot 30-amp power cord. I have a professionally installed interlock transfer switch and a 30-amp power inlet plug on my electric panel. They are expectedly on back order. My question is: Can I use one of my regular LP tanks from my Barbeque grill to power the generator? Is there a flexible fuel line available with a regulator that will reduce the pressure to the required 4-6 psi the product manual requires? Please advise. Thanks
