It’s been a huge lifesaver. It is fuel efficient I average a little over 2 hours a tank of gas of continuous splitting! Easy start that my wife can start and use when I’m gone. The control lever to run the ram is in the perfect spot to work from both sides of the splitter. It is heavily built and gets a little tiring to move around but I was aware of this when was in the market to buy one. It has split everything I’ve needed split and have a machine that will last me a long time. The good folks at Log Splitters Direct were great to work with. I was informed through email from the moment I bought it to the time I received it at my home which is logically a nightmare to receive things. If you're in the market for a splitter I would highly recommend this one.

...and clearly made a great choice! Was a little dicey putting together- you will definitely need an extra set of hands. Used it for the first time yesterday and gave it a work-out. Used it in both vertical and horizontal configurations. Started every time and there was no log that it couldn't conquer. Towed it through the woods so the trailer had a great workout too. Would highly recommend this product!!!

Nice heavy duty splitter.....

Only thing that I had to modify was the orange cover by the ram the three bolt holes don't line up....when they cut that plate at factory if they take another 1/8 off were it slides up against the cylinder pins. Once I did that it slide forward enough that bolts would drop right in. I marked it and used my porting tool and plate dropped right in place. After with no play. I mess with ac pulling tractors so I touch up the paint with a little orange paint and que tip.. the little bit of touch up it needs...
Putting it right to hard work have about 5 cord ready to be split already.
If you follow the directions step by step it makes it easy to assemble...I do recommend another person to at least help with the pivot pin.

Like the way the splitter performs, goes thru anything. Cons are blows hydraulic oil out of breather hole now and then for no reason when perfectly level, when the machine came the black protective strip around the cylinder was not installed all the way around and it is metal on metal and i cannot get it installed correctly, am afraid over time it will wear a hole in the cylinder, when I called the support number I got a woman who did not know anything about the machine.

This thing rattles your brain. I just got it so I'm not sure what to do. Guessing it needs rubber washers and fiber washers in multiple locations. Adjusting from horizontal to vertical by yourself is a hefty task. You have to pull the pin and lift the the ram at the same time. It's heavy, and the pin always sticks, and you need to say a bunch of bad words, cuz it ain't all that cool.

Splitter was packaged well and arrived fine. 10 hours of use first time out. Was easy to use and split some big logs. Quality seems good. Four stars because durability isn't tested yet. Hope it's just as good next Fall.

Has more than enough power to split 30+ diameter. The instructions for assembly that came with the splitter were ok. There is a YouTube video that is actually more helpful for putting this together (not specific to this model but close enough) which I would recommend. Saved a lot of time. Also, can't find a 4-way for this machine. Would be beneficial to have it for sure.
