My sump pump quit working the result of a worn out switch. Ordered online new switch using brand and model. Price was affordable. Delivery only took two days. Installed new switch easily and pump is back operating as designed to do. Great service and good product.

I had been having trouble with my Zoeller pump and was trouble shooting causes for it not turning on or working. I ordered the replacement switch to evaluate whether or not my switch had gone bad. Switch arrived in timely manner, I found time to remove the ejector pump and begin the nasty process of replacing the switch to check to see if this was the issue.
Switch not the issue, determined the motor was fully seized/burnt out. Called to get RMA for the part only to be told that once it is "installed" it cannot be returned. Per the policy, ""Opened" and unused products and accessories in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery*, but will be subject to a 25% restocking fee to cover testing, cleaning and repackaging expenses".
Now I would not call my product used, but if that is how they want to determine used vs unused that is their policy. I did make them aware I would make it known as this is a horrible way to provide parts that may or may not work and leave the customer with a part that is essentially useless to them.
Went with another company to buy my replacement pump. So, company lost out on larger sale due to return of a 50 dollar part

I ordered a replacement switch and was amazed at how quickly I received it. If I recall it was no longer than one or two days. A new gasket was also sent and the whole switch was easily installed and works fine. I did suggest that a small tube of gasket seal be sent with the switch, as if you're like me you don't have a tube of gasket seal around. Great service, great product, good price.

I bought the switch and gasket in anticipation of future failures. I’ve had a number of Zoeller pumps and found them to have great performance. The soft spot is the switch which can fail after years of service. Replacing the switch adds years.

I have a M53-D Zoeller pump that is about 10yrs old.I was told by my home builder that it was rated to pump vertical up to 10ft.is this true?I have miss placed my owners manual and now the switch is bad so that the pump runs constant till it over heats,is that do to pumping vertical for 10yrs out of my basement for a washer?By the way it has been a great pump and will never own anything but a Zoeller for the rest of my time.Thank you.
