Great Sump Pump

Nice, high quality and heavy duty sump pump made in America. Prestested before shipped by manufacturer. I like the flat switch a lot, and the handle. This one had the 35 foot cord (cost extra). Overall I am really happy, works like a charm. I initially bought a Lowe’s version but it’s not the same (more plastic, different switch) and am happy with my choice. Delivery was fast and smooth. A+ and will buy again.

The Zoeller M98 has been installed in an outdoor sump, used once and the top bolts are rusting, thought it was all stainless and cast iron. Very solid construction. So far so good.

Watched a few how to videos on youtube on installation of this pump. They claimed the m98 was the best bang for the buck. After filling up my sump pit to the brim I plugged it in and believe me when I say this pump works FAST! Nice piece of mind during heavy rains.

Excellent Heavy Duty Pump

I installed a Zoeller M98 pump in my backyard drainage system that I designed and built. After watching numerous how-to videos by Chuck from Apple drains, I compared it to other pumps on the market. It cost a little more but in my opinion it's worth the extra money. It drains my back yard quickly and pumps a lot of water out to the street in no time, I have 2 inch pvc discharge line on the pump and it's approximately 125 feet to the curb. It takes the water only a few seconds to get from the pump to the curb. Really impressive. American made quality. I highly recommend it.

Impressive And Powerful Pump

After nearly 10 years of putting up with standing water after a major rainstorm, I decided to put in 2 catch basins and a sump pump to take rainwater out to the street. I have maybe a 1-2 foot head rise and about 65 feet to the front gutter. With summer upon us, I only had to wait a few days after install for a good test, and have had a couple decent storms since. There isn't a storm that this pump can't handle. I may have even gone too large... but I don't have to worry about any amount of rainfall. It probably cycles 50-75 times on and off in a decent storm with a 20 gallon sump basin. I estimate it pumps 9 gallons on each cycle (almost half my basin). I highly recommend if you have large amounts of water to move. Time will tell on reliability, but I have lots of confidence that this is a great pump. Loved being able to get different lengths of cords that Zoeller provides - saved on not needing an electrician to add another GFI outlet.
