Thank you for providing feedback about your pump. This type of surface rust is common and will not effect the operation of the pump.

Quality pump. Wish they hadn't shipped it in nothing but the store-shelf box. Box was wrecked, bunch of dings in the pump's paint. Pump survived it, i guess.

Excellent Pumps!
By Mark

Purchased 07/08/2021 |
Review Posted 07/29/2021
Six years ago we purchased our forever home. We knew that there was somewhat of a water problem in the basement, and the existing ad-hoc pumping system was really poorly installed. We had 2 new sump pits installed, each with 2 Zoeller pumps (primary/backup). This is the first time I’ve had to replace one in all this time. The house is in a real low spot and these Zoeller pumps work hard, real real hard, and have been incredibly reliable even pumping water loaded with iron. I’m so confident in these pumps that the one that failed I purchased a new switch for, repaired it, and put it on the shelf as a backup. I’m sure that if I need it I’ll get a few more years out of it. As far as I’m concerned I’ll never buy anything but a Zoeller.

Had A Problem With The Float
By Vincent S.
Rochester, Michigan
Purchased 09/14/2019 |
Review Posted 10/07/2019
The pump worked fine except for the fact that the metal guard above the float stopped it from moving all the way up and turning on. I had to bend the guard to get proper movement. Otherwise works good.

Product Questions
Answered by Jim, the Sump Pump Expert
if M-53 and M-57 are the same except for the impeller and base, will the replacement switch 004705 for the M-53 work with the M-57? I want the cast iron impeller, but want to be able to secure a replacement switch in the future.
