Would have been nice to get battery removal instruction (this was a replacement after 3 years), similar to the install instructions when first purchased.

I routinely replace my 2 batteries, 2 nexpump ali rage sumps, and my 1 hp sump pump pro every 5 years to ensure my finished basement doesn't flood again. It would be helpful if the manufacturer would say how long these batteries would last under a charge. This expense although I find necessary due to having a in ground basement. My practice gives me a piece of mind although it comes as an expense of $2300 every five years. Its better to have and not need that to need and not have when power is out and water is rapidly soaking your basement carpet.j

To rate a back up battery system you have to look at the conditions. We have had good luck with this unit. However, every situation is dependent on the amount of downtime, the load on the pump, and the charge. It's hard to tell anyone how this is going to be in their home. The team at SPD was great in helping select the best configuration and system.

It is a maintenance-free battery. Not much too it. Using it for a backup sump pump and so far so good. The battery is staying charged, loss of power tests demonstrate the battery is able to run the sump pump. I am using it with a Zoehler pro pak 98 pump system.
