Bad design where the handle mounts to the wand. It is riveted. The rivets came loose and the handle fell off the second time I used it. I called the manufacture and they are aware of the design flaw. They offered to shop me another wand but I declined because I did not want another wand that had the flaw. He took my info and told me that company that makes this wand was improving the design using an adhesive to hold the handle on and I told him I would wait on the improved design model.

Works great but it gets heavy after a while. Would definitely recommend the belt to be used when using the attachment. Fully extended is hard to control.

This product works great. A customer asked me to do something and I was able to do it at 55 feet and it did just what I wanted, he loved the performance. He didn’t have to rent a crane and saved him thousands. I would recommend this to anybody that had something hard to reach or was scared of a ladder, this is your product! When you’re standing on the top of a 40-foot ladder on a cliff on the side of the Arkansas River and the customer wants you to reach an extra 10 or 15feet it makes your day to have it and it makes the homeowners day to pay you. That’s a good day of business.

Believe the horror stories about operating this type of extension wand - its really video worthy. Keep the wand as short as possible the longer the wand, the greater the deflection will be when the pressure is turned on and again when the pressure is turned off. It is actually difficult to keep the pressure turned on because of the poor design of the trigger control. There probably is a liability issue with locking the trigger in the ON position, but that is a major help to operate this terror. An adjustable auxiliary handle would be a big help as well as a way to lock the trigger in the ON position, but still be able to turn it off quickly if needed. Also, an anti-rotation feature to mount the nozzle would be helpful. Even after all of the really bad attributes of this device, it is still better than climbing on a ladder to wash the siding.

So far, this accessory has been working well. The only irritating thing is that it was shipped with a male quick release attached at the bottom where I am suppose to insert the hose. Aren't most hoses male quick releases? So obviously the two males don't work. Therefore I had to take off the male end that it came with to put a female end on so that it would work with my hose. After that was all sorted out thought, it has been working pretty well for me.

Mike I have a 1/4" hose on my Simpson Megashot (3000 PSI / 2.4 GPM). This 18' telescoping wand has a 3/8 NPT. Does it require an adaptor coupler? If so is it included with this wand? If not, what do I need to purchase to make it fit my Simpson? Thank you

Just received my BE 18' semi-pro fiberglass telescoping wand and support belt today. Does the wand only extend when hooked to my pressure washer? I unpacked it and it doesn't extend easily. I wanted to see the fully extended length. I am afraid to apply pressure to pull the sections out.
