A Rather Genius Invention!

It is a back saver. I’ve have 4 oak trees in my yard. I’ve tried all kinds of ideas to pick up the thousands of acorns. While this is not perfect, it does ok. It won’t pick up all your acorns. If acorns are in depressions in your lawn, it won’t pick those up. Slow speed while collecting is probably best, otherwise some of the acorns get thrown over the basket. I don’t particularly like how you, have to empty the basket. I thought the basket came out, but it doesn’t on this model. And don’t make the mistake of trying to go backwards. It’ll dump all the acorns out where you don’t want them.

Saved Me Back Breaking Work

Has saved me back breaking work of having to pick them up. I have 4 grand oak trees that dropped about 50,000 acorns this year. The only downside is that it won't pick up buried acorns, however, ones that are lying on top of the grass are easily grabbed by the unit.
