Works great! We have 3 50yr old Gumball trees and after 2 yrs of raking them, this was what I needed. I filled almost 2 55 gal garbage cans of gumballs in a quarter of the time it took me to rake/blow them before. It maneuvers well and is easy to dump the basket. I was hesitant to pay that much but after just one use, it was money well spent. Time saved and less wear and tear of raking at 65 makes it worth it.

It's a real time saver and a back saver too! In thirty minutes it picked up six baskets full of acorns in an area I had previously spent eight hours to rake by hand. The great thing is when some more acorns fall, I can just take it out for fifteen minutes, and pick up a couple of baskets full without using a whole afternoon. It gives my weekend back to me. I also like the independent turning of the tines, so turning corners are easy.

This product is very easy to assemble. I wish there were more metal parts, mostly made of plastic. Really picks up pecans very well, along with every twig, leaf, and hull in the area. A big mess to have to sort through to find the good nuts. Picks up nuts real quick, and saves a lot of one by one time, but takes quite some time to deal with the "mess." This product is way over priced for what it is. Probably cost manufacturer maybe $50 - $75 to produce, but if you want one, you have to pay the price (like buying a new vehicle for some 30 to 40 thousand dollars).

I am 5' tall. This machine is really too tall for me. There needs to be an adjusted handle for short people. I cracked a rib pushing it up a small hill loaded with acorn. The basket needs to be improved with a latch to keep it from falling off. Next year will try and get up the acorn as soon as they fall. Was hard cause the mower had pushed them into the dirt and the nut Machine would not get them up. Cost was really too much for this machine.
