I was able to pick up 3 large piles in a matter of minutes. It worked great! Assembly was fairly simple--leveling the baskets took the longest time. I do have one recommendation for the unit--shorten the arms by about 1/4 inch so that you can tighten the rollers easier. That way you can tighten them without having to loosen or move anything.

I made a side hitch to prevent running over balls before picking them up. A front hitch would be nice to see when baskets are full and moving around trees.

I purchased the Bag-A-Nut Tow-Behind Harvester hoping to pick up the remaining hickory nuts and acorns in my yard. While it did pick up the loose nuts and sticks, it does not pick up the ones that are stuck in the ground a bit.
I believe this will be a HUGE time saver when I am able to pick up the hickory nuts and acorns when they first fall. I look forward to trying it in the fall.
On a side note, it would be nice if weights could be added to possibly help pick up the items that are below the grass a bit.

We have not used the bag-a-nut extensively yet as a storm came through and brought down a lot of limbs and twigs. We are trying to get them up and then we'll really get to work getting the thousands and thousands of those pesky sweetgum balls up. We made a trial run in a small area where there weren't so many limbs, and it worked great.
