This was an easy install, and it was about a thirty-minute process. I love the striping it is creating, and you can absolutely tell the difference. The only challenge is, it is required to be heavy so turning around is a bit more of a challenge. This is a solid kit with solid parts and should last a long time. I thought it was a bit high on price.

Mounting To Mower Not So Great

The kit is solidly made and heavy enough to create great-looking stripes. It's quite difficult to attach to the Honda lawn mover, drilling two holes in the mower is ok, but getting one of the two bolts in is almost impossible. The instructions suggest needle-nosed pliers, but I found this unworkable unless your pliers are 12" plus long, and none of mine are.
I finally got the mower in a position where gravity was on my side, but assembly took me two hours, required two calls to cust service and I twice lost the bolt inside the mower and feared I would never be able to shake it out. The attachment itself looks like it will last forever, but I fear it is sufficiently heavy that the plastic frame of the mower, to which it is attached will at some point fail, as it ages and the stress of turns takes a toll. The Honda mower that I bought at the same time is generally great if only it came with steel mounting points for a striper or other things to attach to the rear of the mower.

I love the results! I wish there was a quick disconnect design, but I adapted to make my own. Overall, this gives me dominating results over all other lawns in the neighborhood. I highly recommend this product.

Easy assembly and installation but too heavy for my Honda to pull in my hilly yard. Virtually no striping evident in my Bermuda grass. Also impacted maneuverability of mower, especially pulling it back and making turns.

The type of grass you are trying to stripe does make a big difference. The thicker the grass types such as Zoysia and Bermuda are less malleable, and therefore more difficult to stripe. For more defined lines, we recommend that you wet the grass slightly before mowing/striping.

Very sturdy, the only complaint I have is there is no easy way to take it off. I used a bungee cord to lift it off the ground. Heavy so your mower might not like the extra weight.
