Carburetor Issues

Have to have the carburetor cleaned at least 3 to 4 times during the summer months. Which is very costly. Performs great after having shop cleaned the carburetor. The type of gas is not the issue. I have used fresh gas and still have the same issue.

This mower, built in the US, is a great little mower. Grass catcher works well. Drive from wheels is great on hills, handles are ergonomic and easy to use. starts up every time. would buy again.

Best self-propelled mower I ever used. Started on 1st pull right out of the box. Used 4 time's so far and always starts on 1st pull. Very easy to use.

Within the 1st hour, something broke and the blade came off. Don't yet what it's going to cost to repair it. For the price, I was hoping it would last for years, plus with the reputation Cub Cadet has.

It is recommended you take the mower to a local Licensed and Certified Cub Cadet Dealer/Service Center for diagnosis and repair, to make sure that there is no further damage to your mower. Your mower also has a Consumer Warranty on the Engine for 3 Years.

Awesome mower - I am 70 years old and it has enabled me to mow my grass again saving me $150-200/month. Yard has pretty good slope to it and front wheel drive makes it a breeze to mow. Starts 1st pull almost every time and never go past 2 pulls.

The Best Lawnmower I Have Owned

This lawnmower without a doubt is one of the most fun and easy ways to cut your lawn. I have a slope on my front yard and for years it was a challenging task to cut my lawn. I use the self propelled feature and it does all of the hard work for you. The only thing you do is steer it to the direction you want to go. I love the big wheels it has because it feels like you have a good balance on the slope area of my front yard.

I consider the price to be very fair since it is a higher end lawnmower. I have bought in the past other brands that were much costly and my experience with those lawnmower does not compare to the Cub Cadet SC300HW. I definitely would recommend this lawnmower to anyone who is interested in making their experience easygoing for their lawn care.

Recommended purchase! However, if you have healthy, strong, full grass, I strongly recommend an aftermarket blade. Otherwise, you will be running into dumping a half full bagger. Simply, because it isn’t able to process it back. Just my experience.
