My property has a few acres of lawn and I have been paying someone to mow it for a few years, but he injured himself and is recovering from surgery and I tried to keep it up with a gang reel mower but it's rainy season so I had one part growing too fast to keep up with. I hired someone else to temporarily mow just about an acre and his prices were way too high which justified buying the Cub Cadet ZT142E Electric Zero Turn mower which will pay for itself and is low maintenance and SOLID.
It is able to cut through tall grass (mine was about knee to thigh high) with no problem. Adjusting the blade height is a breeze, just push a pedal and turn a dial... SO much easier than adjusting each reel mower in the gang assembly! The zero turn makes maneuvering super easy. The seat is quite comfortable, there's a cup holder, and the back tires are big and grippy. The 42" deck is not too big to maneuver around trees and large enough to cover some area. It stored easily in my garage. It's fun to mow and then just plug it in. It's not work if it's fun, right? This feels like driving a little electric chair scooter around my property.

We have had zero turn mowers for a long time. This one is awesome!! Especially since we have a solar system to charge it. Very comparable to gas models in price and power. Delivery was perfect and minor assembly was easy to perform with a few tools and well written instructions. Love how quiet it is!!
