The Echo CS-3510 is a great saw for any homeowner. With its 2.02hp 34.4cc commercial grade 2-stroke motor and 16" bar, it is perfect for storm clean-up, felling small to mid-sized trees and cutting firewood. At just 8.2 lbs., it is the lightest chainsaw in its class. With the clutch-driven oiler that only oils when cutting, it won't leave an oil mess around your garage when sitting. For operator comfort, it has an anti-vibration handle grip and 3-point vibration reduction system on the motor to isolate vibration away from the saw handles. And all this for a great price too.

Awesome saw, easy to start and use. Really lightweight and manageable. Easy to store in the truck, razor, and my shed. Fantastic power, sweet saw. Be looking forward for an Echo cs 4510 18-inch bar.

I bought an used ECHO 452VL many years ago from a friend who moved from Oregon (they know saws) and it worked very well for years in CA, and now in TN. However, years (decades) took its toll. Impressed with my old ECHO, I searched them and Stihl saws wanting to stay made/assembled (Echo) in USA. Originally it (old Echo) came from Japan. This saw won out. It is much lighter which helps as I am older, easy to start, and super sharp so far. I’ve not used it extensively so my only wonder is the auto chain oiling mechanism. I trust a well tested saw manufacturer used in the NW successfully has produce a saw that can be a long term winner for any home owners.

If you have problems with lifting this is the chain saw for you as this is a very light weight machine. I am elderly and a female with no problems cutting down a tall tree on my lot. It started very easy and seems to have a lot of power, I like it! The only suggestion I could give is to put on a steel spike plate instead of having it as an accessory for one to purchase at a little over $3.00.

This is a very good saw and just what I was looking for. I am older so I needed a light saw that starts good. Checked the boxes. Three features that I gave no thought to when I purchased it but really are nice. The translucent gas tank with fuel notches. The stop switch always returns to run. The recoil rope grip allows you open gas and oil tanks. This saw also cuts very good up to the full bar length just a little slower than my twice as heavy saw.

I used the chainsaw for a while and it would always stall or would almost stall at idle, so I decided to take it to an Echo dealer and they informed me that the carburetor was junk from factory! The low speed jet had been messed with and stripped out. So I had to purchase a new carburetor.

It has more than adequate power for a saw this size! The first thing I noticed is that it has a lot of torque which translates to cutting efficiently. Great saw that outperforms it's size.

I bought this saw on the recommendation of Dale. We had a massive ice storm that wrecked a load of soft and hardwood trees. After going through 4 chains, I think I should change my 4-star initial rate to 5 stars. It still starts easily, it's reliable and it's light. Better than the Stihl I own that sits on the shelf. Any limitations? Well, it labors a bit in 12-inch walnut, but it does it. It does the job, but it's a small saw.
What I really like is when I have a small job, I grab it, yank 3 times, wow it runs, do the job, and I am done. That's what chain saws are for. Let's call it the Honda of chainsaws. I love Honda, so that is a real compliment.
