I got it eight months ago. I still cannot use it. I would not recommend this compressor for several reason, first month, I got it to start working and I called the company and they cannot do anything and and Customer service is the worst. They don’t know what to respond and they cannot help you with anything so you spend $850 for compressor and it’s useless and the customer service even worse. They don’t have a refund and by the time it get fix it will take them years.

Air Compressor arrived by freight and liftgate service was great. Unboxed and put on the wheels and rubber mounts in about 10 minutes. Compressor was packaged very well with a cardboard box on the outside and 1/4" plywood strips framing all around the compressor and screwed securely to a bottom wood plate. Ran the compressor per instructions for 15 minutes with open valves. Blew out my irrigation lines with 50% rest cycle and all worked great. Powder coating is a bit grainy on the tank but no chips or dents. Overall happy with the purchase. Replaced a very old Powermate compressor that was extremely loud. By comparison, the noise of this unit is about 1/3rd the level of the old compressor by ear.

We are using this compressor for a solder system. It keeps up great with the flow requirements and best of all it's super quiet. The unit builds pressure quickly and you can have a phone conversation standing near it. The price was excellent for quality and we are satisfied with the purchase! Highly recommend this unit and Air Compressors Direct. Their communication and fast shipping were top notch!

Very quiet, 65-70 dB at 12 ft. I just discovered the check valve was cross threaded into the tank and it has been leaking down since new. Reinstalled w/epoxy putty, cleaned out the unloader and regulator valves in the ultrasonic tank, works better than new. Should've taken it apart like that when new!

I was worried that we'd have to put a compressor outside due to noise concerns, but the Eagle EA-6500 really lived up to the name "Silent Series" which I first thought was an exaggeration (everything makes noise) but I was pleasantly surprised. Build quality is good, we liked the portability offered by the wheels. I can recommend this to anyone looking for a medium-duty unit. Air Compressors Direct and their transit company were great!

The Eagle Silent Series 2HP 20 Gal compressor is a relatively quiet machine. It has many feature that I was looking for. The logo and other designs are stickers that aren't very high quality and are poorly adhered. In fact the label with the serial number fell off of the tank. It was well packaged and arrived damage free aside from the mug that they included which is severely dented. My compressor was manufactured 11-2021 so it was over a year old when I received it. There are a few very minor spots of rust on it and there was a mouse nest in the pallet. I initially had some concerns after break in because it was leaking down. I did the break in a second time. The pressure dropped 10 psi within about 10 minutes then it sort of stabilized and has been holding at 110 psi for over a day. I don't normally store air in it for more than a day so I'm ok with the performance. I guess time will tell how it holds up. For now I'm not sure if I'd buy it again for they price I paid. I would probably look harder at some of the 30 gallon compressors that offer similar cfm and higher max psi numbers that are $100-$150 more. I could put up with a little more noise.

After having my extremely noisy oiless Harbor Freight compressor, that would drive me out of the garage when it was running, I began searching for a quieter oiless compressor. I found a YouTube video comparing several of the name brand compressors. Eagle had the lowest DB level of the compared bunch. Yes, Eagle is quite a bit more expensive than the other brands but I wanted a quiet compressor that was not made in China or overseas so I ponied up & bought the 20 gallon silent series. It came extremely well packaged with a plywood cage built around it on its own pallet which was mounted to a larger 3’ x 3’ pallet to prevent damage during shipping, which is much different than the cheap cardboard box my previous Harbor Freight one came in. Installed the wheels, plugged it in & it is as quiet as advertised. If you’re in the market for a quiet compressor, go with Eagle. Yes you will be spending a bit more money, but you’re getting a quality product & supporting U.S. workers.

If this compressor is transported on it's side, rubber motor mounts are not strong enough to support it. They separate the motor from the tank. You can only transport this tank in its upright position. Serious design flaw.

I live right outside of New Orleans. I have read that oil-free compressors are not good for humidity. Where I live, the humidity is close to 90-100% most of the year. Will this be a bad environment for this compressor?
