works okay and price okay for covering insulated 3/8 and 1/4 inch mini split lines. if you are using larger lines, get the 4 1/2 inch cover set rather than this 3 1/2 inch diameter set. also, it will save you some effort and make a much cleaner job if you throw out the tight short 90 degree bends supplied with this kit and buy long sweep 90's instead- you can easily bend the copper pipe by hand without removing the foam insulating cover if you have the long sweeps, with no kinks etc.

The color (Ivory) matched siding very well. For the most part the covering works very well.
Only improvement I could see is to have a little more robust lip for snapping cover on.

The Fortress cover is great, but could be a little heavier to make it stouter. Because it is a bit flimsy, it can be a bear to get the cover to snap on. Once it is snapped on and the couplers or end caps are on, the cover is locked in and the assembly is sturdy. The internal sliding zip tie mounting points are a great feature although i wish they would include more than two. Another great feature of the Fortress is the large selection of couplers, elbows, and ends. This makes for a great looking cover no matter what the configuration. For the price, one should never see an uncovered line set on any quality installation.

Great product for hiding exterior Mini-Split lines

This product comes in three colors, white, tan and brown, and is paintable. It is easy to install, and if you choose the correct width for your refrigerant line size, it is easy to insert them into the duct kit and snap the caps into place over them to hide them once complete, leaving a nice finished look for a professional installation. This kit does it's job & does it well. Would recommend.

Purchased the set for covering a pre-insulated line set. 5/8" & 1/4" insulated lines plus 5/8" drain line and interconnecting electric wire.
The covers were good quality and seem to snap together well and stay together during pre-installation.
Problem was the 3 1/2" system is too tight for all these lines. No matter how well I tie wrapped and packed all the lines, the covers would not stay shut due to over packing. The fittings (not straight pieces) screw together so they stay fairly well. Eventually, I decided to run the drain line outside the covers so I could monitor it better for plugging and kinking. After I did this, all the lines fit nicely.
Personally, I found the tight 90 degree fitting to be too tight, so I went back and purchased a sweep 90 which reduced a lot of the stress on the lines.
Tip, put some thought into how to seal the point where the lines leave the house and enter the raceway. The bubble fitting does seal against the siding very well (or at all, a gasket for this area would improve the system).
Overall, a fairly well made set as long as there is enough room to accommodate all the lines.
