Purchased this equipment because Generac is a well-known name. Firstly front feet on the bottom of the machine are unequal in length (cannot adjust) so it easily tilts no stability.
The recoil mechanism on the pull start broke.
Machine kept shutting down after about 10-15 min (oil level was good) .
Pump was not tight on engine. Called customer service to complain. They gave me somewhere to take it to get fixed. Wasn't interested in that because of my experience with this garbage. I just wanted to return it. But they would not take it back because of an oil/gas policy. Worst experience ever. This machine really put me in a bind!!!

Engine-powered equipment cannot be returned once it has been gassed or oiled due to federal shipping regulations. If the product has been gassed or oiled, it needs to be taken to an authorized service center for repair which may be covered under warranty. I've only used it twice so far, for a total of about an hour. It starts quickly and has not had any problems functioning. I bought and returned a Simpson prior to this and this one definitely has a better build quality. The one gripe I have is that though it is assembled in the USA, the pump, hose, and some of the other parts are made in China. Can those parts not at least be made by an ally of ours?

The first day using the pressure washer gun would not work and it took about 10 days to get a replacement. Several days later the second replacement gun broke and would not work. Was able to borrow a gun from my Grandfather.

Just get it. Powerful enough for any job. Not so powerful as to be uncomfortable. I've had it for about 1 1/2 years and a lot of hours. Perfect for the under car sprayer and the 5 jet head for large surfaces. I'm a retired stone mason/ general contractor. I wish I had this back in the 80's. The machines then were good but LOUD and very basic. Now I use it at my home and all it's 35 years of masonry and asphalt.

This pressure washer does not produce 3600 PSI, I bought this because I needed more power over my 2800 PSI Troy Built to clean my shop with surface cleaner, and quite honestly my 2800 does a better job at half the price. When I got this Generac the pull start broke after the first pull and the gas tank vent was broken. I have to wait a week till they sent me a new one the I had to install myself.

I Used the website to make an educated choice. Purchased my new pressure washer. Finally used it. I wanted to upgrade from the homeowner model of power washer to a Semi-pro model. I was not disappointed! I wanted a bigger fuel tank for longer run time. Better hose quality and quick connects. The gun was very comfortable to use and hold. Did my whole house, 4 car concrete driveway ( with attachment ) and sidewalk ( 100 ft ) on three tanks of gas. It had plenty of power. It cut my time in half! It normally took me 12 hours over two days to get the job done. My old machine lasted about 10 years. For the money, spending a little extra, I feel paid off BIG.

First hour found a bolt on the ground. One of the pump adapter to motor bolts fell out and the other three were loose. Second hour found the 2 rubber feet on the ground. Forgot when opened one tire was flat and wheel damaged. No damage from shipping. Straightened rim lip. Oil filler caps are cheep and vibrate loose easily causing oil leak. Had some off a old engine that are better quality. Bad quick connect for pressure hose connection on pump. Hard to engage or release without pliers twisting and pushing hard at the same time. Lube helped just one usage. Changed that out. After all the bugs were fixed it is now a really good and tough pressure washer. Put a bungy cord on the handle. Lot of movement and a lot of noise while running.
