If you replace the belt every year at $95.00. Weight of the attachment makes tractor almost impossible to steer. Looking for chains for front wheels .

I am starting to assemble the snow blower attachment. All of the pieces are included to attach the snow blower. Now all I need to do is to assemble the snow blower to the tractor before it snows which is soon. Can't wait to get some snow to try it.

The Ultimate Snow Throwing Machine!

We purchased our Husqvarna Fast Tractor YTH24K48 in the Spring to mow our lawn with the intention to add the Husqvarna 42-in 2-Stage snow blower attachment for the Winter. Well, well, we were not disappointed! This Snow Thrower has exceeded our expectations from day one. We've had over 8 snow storms this Winter season so far in the Central Connecticut area totaling nearly 60 inches of snow. This machine has cleared all of that snow without a problem. We highly recommend the wheel weights and tire chains for the best grip. The unit was fairly easy to assemble/install by one person in about 3 hours taking occasional breaks. Overall, it's very easy to use and in fact, my teenage son now likes to clear the driveway & 160 feet of sidewalk - I never get to use my new toy! So, to summarize, if you hate clearing snow, you'll love doing it on this machine. Grab one if you can! Check out our our video. We can't wait for our next upcoming snow storm on Monday!

Got my blower on the day it was to get here. Looked and was very pleased it was all there and not dents or paint scratches. Took about an hour to put on then had to wait for snow. Got a little, had to go try it, it is a beast. Throws snow right on the roof our one story home. Was very easy to use. We are to get 6 inches tonight, can't wait to get at it. Only thing I don't like is it just doesn't lift off the ground high enough, only about 3 inches. Wish it was about 6 inches. There are a few dips in the drive way it digs in the ground with only the 3 inch lift. The driveway is about 200 yards and only takes a little bit of time to get her done.

Purchased the Husqvarna R322T Articulating Rider with the Snow Blower and people are amazed at how well and far the snow is thrown. I also own an Ariens Walk behind and I can do my driveway in 10 min. We now have 30 driveway accounts and continually growing. Only drawback is it's to wide for a sidewalk.

I haven't had any snow to test it out yet, but I'm sure it will do fine when it does come. Last year at this time I was snowed in 4 different times.
I must say that the instructions were very easy to follow when I installed it, all by myself and I am 71 years old. I had it done in 2-1/2 hrs.
One thing I don't like is the small amount that you can lift it off the ground. It would be much better if you could lift it no less than 10 inches high. It would help in 3 and 4 ft. snow drifts. Is there any way to modify it, to do so?

Clearing snow is now fun

I got the snow thrower for my Husqvarna tractor anticipating a snowy winter. I am not disappointed. It clears snow quickly and easily. Be sure to get the rear weight and tire chains. Give yourself several hours to carefully install the attachment. I had to cut a small piece of metal off the brush guard to make the mounting brackets properly fit. Nothing a handheld Dremel tool couldn't easily handle. Once installed, this thing is a beast. I'm out having fun clearing the snow and the neighbors are jealous.

We moved to MI and rented a place with a large yard and a decently sized two car driveway and garage. After the first couple of snow storms, I figured I would be ok just shoveling by hand. It wasn't long before I was proven wrong. After the second wave of good deep powder, I realized I was not going to make it through the entire winter. We moved here in mid-August and were talking about getting the mower and I joked about getting the Snow Blower attachment while I was at it. Needless to say, it all arrived just yesterday.
I spent approximately 2 hours putting everything together (Fighting the Flu all the while). The instructions were refreshingly pretty clear. I really liked the hardware diagram page in the front, it really made deciphering which bolt or screw was the correct one. I was reading all the other posts on this item and do agree with most of them. I did notice little ground clearance when the Blower was in the raised position. I had inadvertently missed the posts and recommendations regarding tire chains and/or weights.
There is a slight incline up the driveway to the garage not very successful drive up the driveway but going down was no trouble at all. The Blower was tossing snow a really surprising distance and with little resistance. I must say aside from the loss of traction in one direction, the driveway is a breeze now. I am highly anticipating attaching the mower deck and knocking out the yard with as little effort and greater speed. Looking over all the directions, it looks fairly simple to switch from the blower to the mower deck. The front mounting brackets remain in place and the mower should hook right to frame underneath. I might actually get a chance to use the hammock that has been wrapped up for over two years now.

Assembly required, but worth it

It has not snowed yet so I can't comment yet on that. Assembly was a bit involved but the instructions were spot on. I would suggest reading them fully before starting.
There is some skipping around depending on what model you are mounting it to so it's best to outline the sections that pertain to your tractor first just to avoid confusion. A little mechanical ability and some basic tools it all that is needed. It took me around 2 hours start to finish.
I do wish it lifted a little higher. I only get 3" off of the ground in the full raised position and I have an abrupt transition at the bottom of my driveway that it scrapes on.
All in all I am very happy with it so far, it seems to be very well made.

It is very well built; I used it once and it was pretty easy to use and the assembly wasn't too complex.
I would estimate assembly/attaching time to be closer to 2 hours rather than 1.
