I have not used this one at this moment. The first one was returned due to wheel problems. At this point, I was happy with how fast the company reacted to correct the problem.

I had numerous mowers that failed after a very short period of use. Husqvarna is the very best mower I have ever used! I recommend Husqvarna mowers to everyone out there!

It looks and operates like it's well made. It's heavy but maneuverable (never had self-propelled). Pulls itself well on hills and through tall grass/weeds.I think the separate wheel adjustments are fine. (less parts, weight and I rarely adjust it) I don't like the attached hose cleaner, it's a worthless item. Why get 50% of the grass off the deck when I can tip it up on something, use a hose sprayer and get 100% of the grass off? Other than the wash port, I think it's a great mower. I couldn't find it in the guide but the ground speed is adjustable at the cable.

Sorry I Bought It

If I had to do all over again I would not have purchased this mower. Used twice and had to send in for warranty work. The work was covered under the warranty however I had no way of getting the mower to the service dealer and had to pay them $75.00 for pickup and delivery. The mower is "jerky" when cutting the grass and using the mulching feature does not do a very good job of mulching the grass. I will most likely use the mower the rest of this season and then try to sell it at a loss and buy another brand. Just really regret getting this mower.

This lawnmower has power! We live on 3/4 acre of land and enjoy doing our own landscaping--the lawnmower is easy to maneuver the differing grades in the land. Only recommendation I have for the manufacturer/designer is to create a larger catch bag otherwise -- we have no complaints whatsoever. The lawnmower was easy to assemble, consistently starts up on the first press of the button (electric starter) and is an overall good value.

This Product Needs A Lot Of Work

Very poor design on the bag attachment as it blows dust and dirt into the face of the operator. It is not always possible to go forward, sometimes you have to back up and then the bag comes off.
Very poor design on the motor/blade work. Should be able to disengage the blades to take the bag off without having to start the motor again. This is very inconvenient when the bag falls off.
This is a plastic tinker toy.

Manufacturer Response
Hi Sue,
The bag should not come off when moving rearward. The only potential causes would be if the bag is very full and the mower tilted very far to the rear, or potentially a broken clasp. If you feel there is a manufacturing issue causing this, please take it to your nearest authorized Husqvarna dealer for evaluation.
In regards to inability to leave the engine running while dumping the bag, this is not a model designed to operate in such a manner. Our mowers equipped with BBC (blade Brake Clutch) do operate in this manner if you seek this type of feature.

One reviewer wrote "It is a mountain goat!" and I agree. It is all I can do to keep up with it. The adjustment device to control velocity on the cable doesn't change the speed and this is a matter of design not bad adjustment or a broken part. So the mower takes off and the idea is to slow the velocity by loosing my grip on the accelerator. Can't loosen your grip to slow it down when you you are hanging on trying to keep up. My solution was to bend a pipe in a U and use it to control the play of the grip accelerator. Works like a charm.
I bought a Husky chain saw in 1984, logged for 5 years and still own and operate the same saw routinely. I was expecting the same quality for the price I paid. I am a bit concerned the machine has a lot of plastic on it but time time will tell if it deserves the name Husqvarna.
So far it is outperforming my three year old Troy Built mower and I am happy with my purchase. As the man said "it is a mountain goat" and on my hilly terrain it is doing the job.
