The transmission died on our 10-year old snow blower a few weeks ago, during the last snow storm. I purchased the Husqvarna 291cc 27- inch and my husband has not had opportunity to try it out. We've had no snow ever since! As much as I'd like to know this snow blower works well, I prefer to not have snow!

Sears was selling the same unit for 400 dollars more. Shopping was fast, had the unit within five days. Product was well packed and the driver put it right into my garage. Unlike my most recent experience with Home Depot which took 18 days, was packed poorly arrived damaged and took another two weeks to receive my refund.
Took me about 20 minutes to unpack and assemble and first pull fired right up. First use was the recent storm and it worked great.

As I approach my 60th birthday, this snow thrower is the first I have ever owned. After I assembled it I waited until Jan 01, 2014 to start it . Two pulls later it started right up and ran fine with plenty of power . I am glad that I went with a larger engine (291 cc). I have already shared my experience with friends and believe one is about to make a similar purchase .

I purchased this snow blower in October and it arrived on time and intact although there were some light scratches on the discharge chute due to the crating being slightly damaged. It took about 30 minutes to assemble with the instructions that are provided. I have used it 3 times with 6+ inch snowfalls and it performed as I expected it would. I'm waiting for the 18 inch snowfall to see how it performs. I'm still getting used to having to push in on the drive shifter and the discharge chute levers in order to operate. Overall I'm very pleased with Snow Blowers Direct and the Husqvarna 12527HV.

Delivery was very easy. The man put it right where I wanted it. Putting it together OK, but was missing a wing nut. I called and got it right away no problems. I've had snow throwers before and lived in New Hampshire and this machine far exceeded my expectation. Awesome!

Just picked up this snow blower today. I had 10-12" of light-medium snow in my driveway, front and back yard. The engine started up on the first pull and came to a fairly quiet, smooth, low vibration running state. I only used the first setting of the choke also. Controls are easy to use, and very user friendly. After the first path, I was astonished. This unit just cut the nicest, straightest path through 10-12" of snow like it was nothing. It blew the snow an honest 30', and probably would have blown it even further if I increased the forward speed one more setting. The engine barely dropped any RPM. The unit with its metal slides did a great job not digging into my hard pack fine gravel frozen driveway. I used it for about 45 minutes, and it ran, and performed flawlessly. Looking forward to many more snow blowing sessions with this machine!!! Definitely recommend this over any other unit under $1100.00.

I got this sow blower to replace an old Ariens that I owned for over 23 years. All I can say is that old snow blowers are really easy to use compared to new ones. This new Husqvarna is going to take me a while to get used to. I'm not used to all the levers and handles and the "power" steering. The snow blower works fine so far and I have no complaints on how it throws snow. It has more traveling speed than I would ever need or want. The only thing I miss is a throttle control. The engine runs at one governed speed (fast). The only way you slow down the machine is by the forward/reverse speed control lever.

New 27 inch snow blower

Works well, not as easy to maneuver as I thought but then again it weighs 200 lbs. Worked well with 10 inches of wet snow. Actually threw it in my neighbors driveway! Took a couple of passes to realize the throw range. I've seen enough snow for this year, but I'm ready now for next year.
