If you're looking for long life, proven durability, and quieter run time? The Ingersoll Rand Model: 2475F13GH is the one for you. Having a reliable gas engine is important, so look no further. Ingersoll has integrated a commercial grade Honda GX 13-HP engine and can we say your shoulder will appreciate the electric start feature.
You will be doing less maintenance and more work with this contractor recommended and approved compressor. We also like the built-in alternator that keeps the electric start battery charged without having to wire it into the service truck's electrical system.
Ingersoll Rand has earned their reputation for solid, made-in-the-USA dependability and this unit is no exception. The 2-stage pump produces 25 CFM at 175 PSI, so you can run large tools all day, at any job site you can drive to.

Where The Quality Control IR?
By Philip B.
Vermont
Purchased 10/07/2024 |
Review Posted 12/11/2024
Almost every bolt had to be retightened out of the box and ALL the air components leaked. The piece of junk shut off valve on the air tank broke day one first job. My 20 year old IR compressor makes this new one look like plastic. I have run out of gas more in two months than I ever did in 15 years with my old compressor. Come on IR I thought you were industry leaders...

Having used a truck mounted IR compressor for many years I was a little disappointed with the overall quality of some of the components. The air valve on the tank broke off completely on day one of using my new compressor. Everything was loose that could be loose no tape dope or sealant anywhere on the air delivery side. Dealing with Air Compress Direct was painless and a very pleasant experience, IR need to step up and enact better quality control, as well look for the strongest components not the cheapest ones.

This Product Not Worth The Money They Must Not Have Tested This

Review Posted 09/23/2020
This product ships to you with a lot of welding slag inside so it clogs the drain! The cage is very noisy/rattling..and mine has a plumbing leak where the air goes into taking from the air pump that makes it idle up more frequently.

Noisy Belt Shield
By Manuel F.
Sunland, California
Review Posted 10/04/2016
IR compressors have been part of my life as a mechanic. But the last one I bought I had to remove the belt shield. The noise was crazy. I compared it to a discount store's similar model and the cheapo compressor was a lot quieter with similar CFM output.
The new IR compressors shields don't have as many screws as the old ones. Other than that...great compressor

Mining Field Service

Review Posted 07/16/2014
Just started using the compressor on our field service truck in a mining environment, and so far it has performed very well. No hesitation whatsoever running the larger impact tools with higher pressure and cfm requirements.
In a very abusive environment, we will see how it holds up, but so far so good...

The starter feature is one I have never experienced on a compressor this small and the cfm output is fast! All that with a Honda engine makes this compressor superior by far.
Don't waste your monies on the cheaper models. Spend a little more get a lot more. I owned a smaller Ingersoll Rand compressor for the past 5 years & it is still going strong.

Never had a down day
By Glenn P.

Review Posted 11/16/2013
This is my choice in compressors & all I would use in my truck & tire service. This will run & start regardless of the time of year.
I used this in my business in Denver, Colorado & never had a down day due to a compressor. If you're going to be doing truck tires & using a 1" air impact this is a must-have.
I can't say enough about this unit. Although retired now you will still find this very same compressor in my personal truck today, just because.
