Good & Bad

Had this installed for 4 years now doing an update? The braided hose is excellent quality and no leaks, the anti-vibration pads are good quality as well no vibrations at all with my QT-54.
The concrete anchor bolts are very nice but u can get the same ones at Lowes or Home Depot for half the price.
THE BAD: The JIC fittings are WORTHLESS they are just plain steel plated with nickel they rusted so bad I had to pull them out how stupid is that to include these on the hot high moisture side of the air system with no possible way to treat the air before it reaches these. I bought 316L SS JIC fittings to replace them at 19.35 a piece there worth every penny.
I would upload a pic but Air Compressors Direct will just not post any pics that show bad quality. So I won't bother.

Piece the set together yourself for way cheaper. Not worth the money.

IR 12 inch install kit.

Well, I know it comes from IR, so it must be engineered to match the compressor, but I still don't like the idea that the hose is only five sixteenths" id. Seems like that is an unnecessary restriction so close to the pump's half inch" outlet and before my half inch" distribution piping. I also didn't find it to be very good value - over $100 for four rubber feet, concrete anchors and the braided hose and fittings. Really makes the big 80 gallon 2-stage 5 hp compressor at $1,000 seem like a bargain, comparatively.
If I hadn't been in a hurry I would have figured out some isolators myself (pieces of tire?) and just plumbed it with half inch"iron pipe. With hindsight, if I were to buy a kit again, I'd opt for the one for the larger compressor and adopt it to mine to get a larger braided hose.
Incidentally, my compressor number is not the 3-phase model listed in the possible selections, but a single phase.
